[Replying to a claim that God is never criticized for murder]
<p>God can justly kill anybody, sorry but such is the reality.

That whole post is sad. Here's another part of it.
------
Jason quotes: "He gives us rules, and doesn't even bother to follow them himself "
------
Jason responds with: "You can't really be as clueless as this suggests can you ? You could win a screwball of the month award for the level of general cluelessness this demonstrates. In fact I think i'll go nominate you right now.
Why on earth do you think God is bound by the same rules you are exactly ? Why is the creator subject to the same rules as his creation ?"
------
My response: It's called morality , you dumbass. If your "God" is doing things that would be immoral for you to do, then your "God" is immoral. You, Jason, are the clueless one.
"God can justly kill anybody, sorry but such is the reality."
And we're supposed to obey his rules? Okay. Based on that logic, I guess you won't mind if one day you're grabbed from behind & chloroformed unexpectedly, and the next time you wake up you find yourself secured to a bench in a room surrounded by all manner of hideous 'appliances', instruments etc - and said room is tiled, with blood & gore splattered & caked on all four walls, floor and ceiling. Then you see me walk in (the door behind me clangs shut), wearing surgical garb, mask hiding my features, snapping on rubber gloves...! >:D

After all, your 'God can justly kill anybody. Amirite?
Either he can kill, thus we can too, or if murder is wrong to us, therefore God has no right to do the same. Can't have your cake and eat it, pal.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
