[Commenting on a lawsuit resulting from a teenager's suicide after police threatened to reveal he was gay]I wonder if the ACLU also supports 'minor's privacy' when it comes to other dangerous activities: drinking alcohol (particularly the popular binge drinking), doing drugs, attempting suicide, etc.

har, har.

A bit late to protect him from that doncha think.
This waste of resource has all the compassion of an on-duty concentration camp executioner
Maybe because homosexuality isn't harmful? Maybe because it doesn't pose health risks like alcohol and drugs do? Homosexuality is not a dangerous activity. I think hateful bigotry, on the other hand, is one of the most harmful activities that one can undertake.
What a callous, heartless waste of oxygen.
If outting gays was part of a policemans job , officially or any other way, you'd have a point. It's not.
Law trumps religion and thank God for it or not, but be thankful for it. The laws are what make freedom, the more they're implemented the better off we are.
The Patriot Act, By the way, Incorporate civil rights restrictions/violations which have nothing to do with the war on daddy's enemies. Like the 50s, there's shit that's entirely about controlling the civilian population so everyones a white Christian or have no say, read have "no say" as "shut up or be punished"

Yes, yes they do.
Given that in recent months, a preacher was found dead wearing two wetsuits, a gas mask, and, um. "Wearing" a dildo rather internally while in suspension bondage, one could infer that the practice of religious proselytization is more dangerous. And somewhat less morally pure. If you want to pick moral high ground, choose some that isn't a hill in the midst of a sociological artillery range. I do resent your standard-issue fundie assertion that homosexuality is as dangerous as underage binge drinking, suicide, or hard drugs, regardless.
The only danger in it, the only grain of truth to your disingenous assertion is that it's dangerous solely because bigots like you make it incredibly dangerous for a vulnerable minor to be outed as a member of a stigmatized group, while your leadership outs itself with alarming regularity as shining points of hypocrisy. See: Dead preacher in two rubber suits with a dildo up his arse.
You are a repugnant example of waste human flesh, Jinx. A kid died, and all you can do is cast crude aspersions on consensual, private acts that were shown no respect whatsoever by officials that should have shown more tact and judgement.
Maybe it's because homosexuality isn't dangerous. You are just as vile and heartless as the police officers that threatened to out him. He is dead, and all you do is try to justify the actions of the corrupt police officers responsible for his death. I sincerely hope that the officers were fired as they clearly have no business being in any position of power.
Being homosexual is not an activity, stupid, it's an inborn trait, like being tall or left-handed. Nor is it dangerous, in and of itself. It might be dangerous if you live in a country with a lot of evil bigots, but as long as you live in a decent country it's as non-dangerous as heterosexuality.
Confused?
