I believe a poe is somebody who may be mistaken for a fundie if they say something fundyish without making it clear that they're joking. I think.

Let me ask you this: What icecream do you prefer? Vanilla, Chocolate or Strawberry? Why do you prefer that flavor? Were you born with a gene that gives you that preference? The answer is no. Between being a newborn and 5 years old, you did a lot of things and were exposed to a lot of things that formed you, yet you hardly remember any of it. You don't remember why it is that you prefer one flavor of icecream over the other so you say that "you've always liked that flavor". That doesn't mean that you were born that way.
It's the same thing with many things in our lives, including sexual orientation.

Following your logic, we should say, "moral, don't drive a car", when there is a car accident or "moral, don't get out your house" if you're robbed. There is a "thou shalt not kill" but not a direct commandment saying "thou shalt not be gay" for a reason. The first is a total act of will which affects others(essential to be considered a sin), the second isn't.

This would all be fixed if we could have the Ten Commandments at school, people. Then children would know they are not to kill on school grounds.
In over a year of visiting this site, this makes the top 20 most vile things said by a fundy. The only worse things I've heard have come from rape apologists and 'women should be kept in the home or murdered' types.Although this guy probably fits both those categories as well. I come here to have a nice quiet laugh about fundies who don't believe in gravity and so on, who believe the flood happened and that dinosaurs lived on the lost continent of Atlantis. This stuff just makes me feel sick.

I kinda thought the moral was people need to stop being less bigoted, gun control needs to be tighter, and people shouldn't go around shooting others because they don't agree with them. Guess I'm funny like that.

Reuters (Puerto Rico)- A man who went by the online name 'horuhe' was shot to death today, outside a school. He was wearing a T-shirt with the slogan 'The wages of Sin is DEATH'. Witnesses said he also carried a placard, bearing the slogan 'The only good Faggot is a DEAD one', and was still holding in his hand pamphlets promoting extreme right-wing Fundamentalist Christian dogma, even whilst shot by an unknown assailant, and his resulting death.
Police report he had been protesting like this for a long time, and there had been many complaints to them about this, and his related antisocial behaviour in general. So far no witnesses have come forward with information as to the identity of his assailant.
Moral: Don't be a Fundie.
