I have seen the answers below, but the sad thing is, unlessan athiest had taught people how to fear God, then they have not contributed to humanity. For when the forces of God starts to destroy this earth and to take people of righteousness to the Kingdom then what anything else have mattered, men and women who leads others to Christ are the true contributors of humanity.

As far back as 1945, he'd come up with the concept of devices placed in geosynchronous orbit around the Earth (12 years before the first launch into space by the USSR in 1957) which relayed radio signals to other parts of the world. Indeed, when the first such device (Telstar) was developed in 1962, who did they approach to be the project's head technical advisor, thus ensuring it's success?

If you think worldwide communications and the connection of computers via such aren't 'serious contributions to humanity' Nivek4963, then throw away that computer you're using, and never make a long-distance phone call or watch anything on cable TV ever again. Oh, one more thing: Turing was a homosexual too.

Hi Nivek4963, I'm an atheist and I teach people how to fear God, so I imagine you rate me quite highly for contributing so much to humanity. Thank you for that respect, mind you, didn't know you thought that highly of humanity in the first place.

But let me use this opportunity to teach the fearing of God. Fellow humans, do not allow yourselves into being hoodwinked into becoming members of one of the various death cults that follow the genocidal invisible one. By doing so, you will lose the ability to show all the noble and good human expressions such as humanity, tolerance, compassion and the love of children etc. Instead you will become used to considering people as things if they're not part of your cult. You will find every justification for hating, lying, torturing, murdering, persecuting, being neurotic, being paranoid, abusing (especially children), manipulating for evil ends, being mean, intolerant, deceiving, being willfully ignorant, championing ignorance, being obtuse, etc

These are only a few reasons to fear God. The best way to remain free of the fear of God is to not let Him in to your life. If you do let Him in then there's a chance you might turn into an evil Godbot, perhaps out of a natural inclination or predisposition to do harm, but perhaps out of a fear of God.
