Considering how the god of the bible behaves, and if he actually existed, i wouldn't be surprised if he sat on a throne of skulls as well, perhaps surrounded by an ocean of blood.
If he existed, it's unlikely that he would need the help of feeble humans. This reminds me of apocalyptic cults and their hypocritical "hate the actions, not the person", then "it's God who'll decide who survives" or whatnot, then "but we really hope that the end is soon, for all filth to be destroyed!" and constantly judging others.
The real reason being self-persecution instead of having and living a decent life, then blaming society and imaginary devils for their self and cult-inflicted suffering. The world is evil, etc. It's not because a verse in the Bible say so that it must govern your life as if it was fact... or serve as a justification for your own hatred and evil. Instead of indoctrinating and segregating your kids into that and cutting them from mainstream society, why not prepare them to have a better prospect in life than you did?
