Without those people, it might take a lot longer for us to learn about the abuses that religion has led to. We know of the Catholic priest pædophilia scandal, but the even larger epidemic of Protestant clergy pædophilia might have gone unnoticed, or had it been noticed might not have been sufficiently exposed to the world.

So you're opposed to opposition to ISIS?
Is that what you think, consuela? Well, then you are incorrect. You are posting on a device developed by, as I never tire of saying, a gay atheist. Want more proof? Google "achievements by atheists" and prepare to be inundated.
But let's suppose you are correct and atheists are lazy shits. So what? If the sole criteria for being allowed to exist is "fixing something", I'm afraid that lets most christians off the hook. All they do is lie and whine.
Oh, wait a minute...

Sorry, but an ellipsis does not wipe the previous sentence from memory and allow you to immediately do the exact thing you accuse someone else of doing.
I think I can recall a Crusade you'd be wholeheartedly supportive of, were you alive then.
My guess is that when christians are on the giving end of said crusade, you can't sound off about how just it is fast enough.
Christians killing people of other religions is their god's will. People of other religions killing christians is an abomination!

Back at you, you elitist, creedist, self-righteous, illiterate twunt.

I think there's people here (if not posters, then readers) or who have been here who might fall into this definition, but certainly not Dawkins, who is an important biologist and I think probably deserves to be better known for that than for his atheist advocacy.
As for the other "New Atheist Horsemen", this comment might have a bit more of a point than some fundie comments, but Daniel Dennett is still definitely important for his other work, and Christopher Hitchens was an important journalist. I don't know so much about Sam Harris, though.
Although honestly, any sane human being would rather have a conversation with someone like any of the four above men rather than people like the ISIS crew, Boko Haram, Pat Robertson, etc. And since I included a dead man in the atheist list, let's add in Fred Phelps and Harold Camping to the fundie list. And really, any of those four men did more for this world than any of those fundies or so many fundie leaders ever will, aside from showing everyone the depths of religious (and human) depravity.
Just admit that these tirades is brought on by your desire for atheists to keep quiet, and refrain from criticism, like they did in the good old days.
You don't fully understand, or like, arguments put forward by some of the more vociferous atheists, therefore you smear and slander.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
