Science is the probably the greatest illusion that man has ever invented. Things work because they tell us they work.
Gravity for instance.... We see the affect of gravity but no one understands why it is here and not on every planet in our solar system.

Admittedly, I've not travelled to any other planets so I cannot claim to be such an expert as you obviously are, but one without gravity? Are you sure? I would weigh less, I suppose, so I should be allowed to take more luggage.
Forces in the universe "work" weather science addresses them or not. The universe was here long before our science.
Yes, gravity exists on other planets even if you aren't there to directly observe it.
Object Permanence:

Most Humans learn it at 18-24 Months. You have somehow managed to not grasp this concept but can still use a computer?
not on every planet in our solar system.
Yeah, but that's because the other planets didn't keep up on their payments, like duhh. If you want gravity, cough up the dough. Jeeze.
There's stupid, there's improbably stupid, there's impressively stupid, there's unfathomably stupid, and then there's this dumbassery. Kinda like the five levels of fatness (well, six now...), only with stupidity.
And later he defends his argument saying:
"Mock all you like but the moon has no oxygen and without the suits and the heavy gear they would have floated off...
Wait... doesn't that happen in films where people float off into space because their is nothing to tie them down."
I lost it, This is probably the most amazing science(?) quote on this site I've ever seen.

But
but if there were no gravity on the moon, heavy gear wouldn’t keep them on the ground either
ow, my head hurts
If the universe were a fair and just place, it would hurt to write something like that, not to read it!
"Things work because they tell us they work."
Computers go wrong.
So, next time yours goes FUBAR for some reason, you're not going to take it to a computer shop to be repaired?
Because perish the thought that it would need someone with even a modicum of knowledge in Computer Science to do easily what you say can't be done, Sissy.

"Capricorn One". That scene in Whyte Tektronics where James Bond steals that moon buggy to escape his pursuers in "Diamonds Are Forever". Sissy's mind status: Blown .
Apollo 15 astronaut David Scott would like a word with you. So would Dr. Buzz Aldrin. And he's a Conservative Christian .
Confused?
