March to Madness

Robin Egg:
It's the separation of sheep and goats, at least in this country.
Lady Checkmate:
Amen. And it's obvious. They're no longer hiding behind their "#lovewins" masks and signs. They've dropped those and picked up pitchforks and knives to attack those they hate with. The good news is that we know how it all ends. Praise God.
* We hasten the return of our Lord!
Mick Williams:
Guys like this are elected by people whose parents never monitored what they were being taught in school.
Lady Checkmate:
Agreed.
California continues to focus on petty stuff and ignore important issues. Pray for Texas. I'm sure no one wants them, so Texas is probably reeling and bracing for their foolishness.
Awesome clip! Thanks, Mick!!

I swear to god, Mick's art has reached the level of RoseArt crayons and markers. And the proportions for that devil is all wrong, unless there's some line in scripture about one devil arm being twice the size of the other.
...and why is the devil so obviously a figure of evil? If Mick knew the first thing about subtlety, the puppet would be controlled by an attractive being exuding light; by a being who, rather than using strings, would instead use flattery shot-through with wrong-headed ideas that only seem good at first blush.
@ KingOfRhye
It's the eyebrows.
I'm still trying to figure out what is up with plastic straws and being arrested.
Hey Mickey, real straw is much more environmentally friendly.
"They've dropped those and picked up pitchforks and knives to attack those they hate with."
Plastic in the oceans is a massive problem. When there are viable alternatives like paper straws it is only sensible to use them and ban the plastic.
Perhaps Lady Pigeon and her chums should watch The Blue Planet with David Attenborough then they will see the problems for themselves. Or with closed minds like theirs ... perhaps not.
The Estate of Terry Nation jealously guards the image of that which was created by him: Daleks.
I trust the Estate of Rod Serling have done the same with him .
Checkmate, Lady.
For it was you who allowed such... 'images' to exist on your s(h)ite.
It is an odd truth that, occasionally, a word is used to mean the opposite of its definition. For instance, when someone says "I literally died laughing," they actually mean it figuratively - unless, of course, they are speaking to you from beyond the grave and you are at a seance.
Likewise, when Mick Williams refers to "patriots," what he actually means is "someone who acts against the very basis of the country in which they reside, in order to further their own villainous schemes and desires."
My name is Lemony Snicket, and it is my sad duty to report the series of unfortunate events surrounding the American people during the Trump presidency. I advise you to look away now, as things will only get much, much worse.
That's how you do an homage, fundies. Get it right.
@Voters for Democracy
You, good sir, win the internet.
Meanwhile, one can only hope that Mick and Checkmate will lose whatever lawsuit comes up for their defamation.
@Thinking Allowed
Slippery slope/ Strawman tactics OR:
Never argue the ACTUAL case, exaggerate it to the absurd and pretend that's what the stakes are.
Williams does that a lot in these awful things, sometimes he so far out there you can't really fathom what he's talking about.
But maybe he hit upon something with that and the Twilight Zone usage is apt ironically, because it's them actually admitting they're not talking about real issues, policies or situations, they're fear mongering the stupid. A fundamentalist given. But in this format he's kinda admitting this is all ridiculous and LC's going "Right on, preach brother"
Also
Studies done over years have shown Conservative are more fear based and much more likely to believe fictional nonsense. Most complaint calls to Soap Operas and TV programs come from the Bible Belt. They often think dramas are real events. It's these areas that years ago pestered the coast guards and Navy about Gilligan and the other castaways. I think a lot of Southerners believe Twilight Zone episodes, after all it's been on for years, must be true, some are saying.
One other little thing that bugs me:
Awesome clip!
Not awesome, of course, but it's not a CLIP either! A clip is "a short sequence taken from a movie or broadcast."
@Canadiest
I shudder to think if these 'Conservatives' were to watch "Babylon 5".
Never mind the notion of - via their manipulation of the 'Younger Races': including Humans - the Vorlons (one of the 'First Ones') essentially being God, what would their reaction be to the Shadows ?!
...or of the First One: Lorien. And as the Shadows are billions of years old...!
Confused?
