Homophobia is like global warming & the hole in the Ozone layer. neither of them exist.

Global warming is more of a natural occurence. The last few years the earth even cooled down a bit, almost 0 degrees Celsius but still. The hole exists. Let's put him "in" the hole during solar flares for a while and see what he has to say after a few months.
And most fundies proof the existence of homophobia by denying it's existence at all possibilities. If it doesn't exist, why make such a fuss about it?
ARFI -- "I don't want to think about homophobia, or global warming, or the hole in the ozone layer, so I'll just deny they exist. I mean, what's good enough for the president is good enough for me."
"You bastards, there is no hole in the ozone layer! There is no hairy, naughty, strangely arousing hole up there, and I'm not afraid of it! Oh my word, who did your interior decorating? It's divine!"
Idiot. I may have some dispute global warming (as a human caused problem), but the ozone hole is no myth. Homophobia is so prevalent, that only by a willful act of ignorance could you miss it.
You need to go away. VERY FAR AWAY.
Truth be told, I consider 'homophobia' to be quite a misleading word for hatred of homosexuals, if one takes into consideration its prefix 'homo' meaning 'human' and 'phobia' meaning fear. Logically speaking, homophobia should mean 'fear of humans'. I think a better and more accurate word for 'fear of homosexuals' would be 'homosexualphobia'. However, I think the most accurate word possible for hating homosexuals would be 'misohomosexuality', like 'misogyny' is a word for hating women. 'Miso' is the greek prefix for hate, and strictly speaking, I could not find a greek suffix for 'hate'.

Technically, homo is greek for same, hence, the word homosexuality. The term homophobia doesn't make an literal sense, actually, being 'Fear of the same'. Ironically, it could be described as a form of heterophobia (fear of things that are different), but so could everything.
Well, this might be better than believing that, say, homosexuals CAUSE global warming (in the same vein as "sinners in New Orleans caused a hurricane").

Which is why I stick by my new and improved terms, which are precise and unable to be confused for something else.
Well, if this were true, that would be great! Unfortunately, it's not. You simply choose to deny things that make you uncomfortable.
Confused?
