@Ivurm: equality is a beautiful idea. embracing Clinton's slur in this way is signalling a disbelief in her sincerity as to actually delivering equality; it's in effect saying you think Trump is more honest, less of a hypocrite.

But they ARE deplorable! They are sexist and bigoted and religiously fundamentalist! She didn't say all were but, much like other teapot tempests like GamerGate, they are a bit too visible. Just look at the images that Moose-sama puts up, or any other images of the folks who were either Birthers or general Tea Party idiots, waving Confederate flags, shaking signs about Africa or saying things about immigrants and English. I'd call them deplorable.
Yeah, it's clear that you're deplorable, if you think equality is a BAD thing. You actually like discrimination, persecution, us-and-them? Of course you do, as long as you think you'll be on top...
Donald Trump is also "the elite", born with a whole set of silver spoons in his mouth as he was.
They're having a hard time trying to rationalize this "Deplorable" accusation in Trumpland.
Some are wearing it as a badge of honor others think it's an incredible insult, their great leader hasn't defined it for them yet, he's got a team looking at copyright opportunities first.
Crooks and Liars has been using it as a tag to headline trump surrogates bullshit appearances. It's funny, because we know what it means and how accurate the label is.
