Actually most of the universe is composed of water. Water comprises 91% of the substance in the human body and oxygen is composed of 2 molecules of hydrogen (water).
Carbon-14 is only present in one trillionth of all the atoms in each molecule and its existence varies greatly according to the amount of sun in each day, how much radiation in the air from nuclear power plants, and the position of the sun relative to the equator. Therefore, the chance of winning the lottery is much higher than the accuracy of carbon-14 dating.

The clue meter is reading zero.
Water is about 70%, not 90%, of the human body; hydrogen is not water; C-14 is far more common than you suggest (it is often formed from a neutron colliding with N-14 and ejecting a proton) measurements occur against the amount of decay product present which allows us to determine how much C-14 there was to start with; and last, but not least, C-14 isn't used for anything beyond about 55,000 years anyway because it decays too quickly.

Actually, I've seen her around a few forums. Believe it or not, she's legit. Dumb as a post, but real.
Yahweh: are you sure Carico is Heidi? Carico appears to be 54 years old, if the number next to his/her name at christianforums.com is his/he age. Heidi is about 30, iirc.
Also, Carico's posts don't seem to me to be quite as phenominally stupid as Heidi.
Of course, there's always the possibility that the little purple number next to cf.com's posters' names is their IQ - in which case heidi=carico....
In order to regain much lost credibility, the church needs to come down heavily on such silly distortions of the facts of science. The church, to its own ultimate hurt, embraces such absurdities because of its unhealthy and overly-simplistic ideas about literalism.
>>Oxygen is composed of eight hydrogens, actually. And eight to ten extra neutrons. And quite a lot of photons.<<
Most Oxygen is actually diatomic, so it would have double most of this, I was just mocking the poster with my Comment #2690
Am I counting a 1:1 statement:falsehood ratio here??? Congrats, Heidi!
(Sure, C-14 is variable, but the timeframe is longer than mere days) (Oh, and pick up a few textbooks in biology, statistics, geology ... hell, any kind of textbook will make me feel better at this point :( )
And if it helps - I've made two absolute howlers on this board. Forgot the C14 isotope was from cosmic rays hitting a Nitrogen molecule, then the C14 combining with Oxygen to make CO2 for the plants to absorb it.
And the moon shadow one was too embarrassing for words (thanks Zipperback) - forgot my high school education and just remembered a quote from Magellan about shadows on the mooon meaning the Earth was round. Ooops.
(And they're just the ones I know of)

Actually, the two most abundant substances in the universe are hydrogen and stupidity, but not necessarily in that order. <<
We have re-phrased this as "the two most abundant substances in the universe are dark matter and stupidity, but not necessarily in that order", in order to stay current.
Confused?
