Here's a comment that recently showed up out of the blue on a post I wrote almost four years ago.
Note the result of my little demonic activity check. The anon who went to the trouble of digging up a post from 2015 just to leave a mocking comment suddenly falls silent when I ask him to make a profession of faith in Jesus Christ. This wasn't the last instance of that phenomenon.

Because when you start blathering on about demons and driving them away with THE POWER OF CHRIST, most rational people realize you're a hopeless cause and not worth the time or effort to argue with?
Or, more likely, they're like me and leave comments on things they don't agree with on sites, and then forget to check back for responses?
'Humiliating' someone doesn't work that way.
But that anon certainly got you triggered, Bri.
There's an extremely good reason why the phrase 'Never Google Yourself' exists: and - certainly in your instance - FSTDT is why you shouldn't .
Take it from a veteran Anon of the internet's 11th Circle of Hell: FSTDT is just a word. 4chan's /b/ is much, much worse. [/"Event Horizon"]
Went to the trouble of digging up a post from 2015? No trouble at all; just use the Random function here and go to whatever darnedest thing it brings up...
What would you say, Bri-Bri, if someone asked you to make a profession of faith in Gaia?
When someone says something profoundly nonsensical or stupid, the first reaction might well be to be stunned into silence. Then, one might come to the conclusion that No, there is no sensible answer that will satisfy me and them; I might as well stay silent. In short, it's not a positive result of "demonic activity", but of stupidity in you.
A drive-by comment may just be a drive-by comment? Why should it come with a contract? Was there any indication in the comment that the person intended to join your mission? You admit that they were mocking, but then still had unrealistic expectations? Why would it have to do with demons? What if they're an imaginary concept, there's a lot of evidence pointing to that. I post in 2026 on a thread posted in 2019. I used the random feature. Why not?
If you asked me your question, my thought would be, been there, done that, then I grew up... I was too curious for the ready-made repetitive firehosing of cults. It even led me to an understanding on why be believe and how human traditions have formed. And on our actual origins, there's a lot of more interesting knowledge there. Claiming that demons are tricking me may only make sense to the superstitious who claims it, if it still does at all. It's a simple fearmongering and elitist hasty rejection by a closed mind. Or the argument of the deceiver profiting from the ignorance and fear of others.
Confused?
