Dinosaurs never went extinct!
When God first created the Earth, Adam and Eve were meant to be immortal, but because of sin, they began to have a life span. The life span which became normal at that time was about 900 years. However, as sin increased even more, the human life span decreased, because God allowed certain enviromental changes to occur which shortened the life span. For instance, the magnetic field decreased, allowing parasites which had once been incapable of entering the body to do so. Eventually, the human life span had been decreased to about 70 years. Well, enviromental changes which effect humans also effect reptiles as well as other animals. And, reptiles grow as long as they are alive. A komodo dragon can live about 70 years and grow to be about 7 feet long. If the human life span decreased from 900 to 70 years, that is a decrease of 13 times. If a komodo dragon has experienced that same effect upon its life span, it would have been about 91 feet long back when humans lived for 900+ years, since it would have continued to grow for its whole lifespan. What do you call a 91 foot lizard? A dinosaur!!!

How old? Eight? Nine? Three?
So.. if the shortening of lifespans resulted in the "dinosaurs" to become smaller.. then likewise, humans must have been the very giants warned against, wouldn't they? If you apply the same 13-fold value, then an average 5.5' human being would have been over 70 feet tall.
So, I guess then that those creatures in the various texts weren't the result of angels breeding with humans.. they were just humans who were really old!
Sorry brimac, the "logic" you try to apply, has to apply universally. You can't simply say it's only accurate in one view and not another.
When God first created the Earth, Adam and Eve were meant to be immortal
Where is he getting this nonsense - The "Authorized Pull-It-Out-of-Your-Ass" Version of the Bible? Try Genesis 3:22-23: "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
In other words, the Bible says God sent Adam and Eve out of the garden specifically to prevent them from becoming immortal. So how could they have been immortal already?
If a komodo dragon has experienced that same effect upon its life span, it would have been about 91 feet long back when humans lived for 900+ years, since it would have continued to grow for its whole lifespan.
(a) Komodo dragons are lizards. They are unrelated to dinosaurs. Dinosaurs aren't lizards - they just look a little like them. They are more related to crocodiles; (b) Dinosaurs came in all sizes, from huge to the size of a chicken; (c) Cockroaches in some form or another have been around for over 400 million years - long before dinosaurs existed - and are still around. What does that prove?
the magnetic field decreased, allowing parasites which had once been incapable of entering the body to do so.
Um, okay, so how did those parasites survive before the magnetic field decreased?
Nice reasoning...except no.
You are assuming that the Bible can be referenced as a provable constant, and then applying its human rationale to a lizard. You fail on many levels and would be a shitty scientist.
"the magnetic field decreased, allowing parasites which had once been incapable of entering the body to do so. "
What are these parasites made of, iron filings? And what did they live on before they could enter a body?
So our lifespan went form about 900, down to around 50, then up to around 80?
Does that mean we sin less today?
Oh, and you fail at biology 101. Sorry
Uh oh, sounds like it's cluebat o'clock...
DINOSAURS (whack!) ARE (whack!) NOT (whack!) ACTUAL (whack!) LIZARDS (whack!), YOU (whack!) MORON!!! (whack!)
Nice idea of God, to screw the rest of the animal world because of eating an apple. Now seriously, can't people stop being so egocentric?, humans are not the centre of universe. They are not the measure by which nature leads things.
And old people shrink before they grow to giant size?
the life expectancy has bounced between 900 years, down to 30 and now up to 75?
Isn't it funny? If I wouldve used such lame-assed apologetics on my parents when I'd get in trouble at home (i was a hell-raising bastard. according to mom. she also referred to me as a son-of-a-bitch too, both of which i found funny) I would've gotten my ass kicked! This isn't believable coming out of the mouth of a kid, a parent, or a religion.
You gots you a big old steaming puddle of shit.

Well, if plants could manage to stay alive before the Sun was created... :P
*FACEPALM* first off, lizards dont grow continuously, at some point they stop. for example, most humans are done growing by age 25. By your logic brimac, if we lived to be 900 years, we would average 75 feet tall.
A 91 foot lizard would be...wait for it...
*drumroll*
...a 91 foot lizard.
There is no way a paleontologist would mistake a lizard for a dinosaur. None. Dinos had very different hips than lizards and were exothermic--you can also tell that through their bone structure. Many of them had feather or down at some point in their lives.
And all of the surviving species are feathered.
You've probably eaten some fried dino in the past month.
I could put this pizza in the oven for 25 minutes at 400 degrees fahrenheit..... OR I could put it in for 5 minutes at 2000 DEGREES! FAITH HAS PULLED ME THROUGH!
I am sorry about your pizza and your pet lizard, brimac. And your oven and house.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
