JohnR7 strikes again! Newsflash, John. Fraud IS against the law and guess what... "evos" are not in jail.
Robin: Golly gee willikers, Batman! Could that mean that JohnR7 is an imbecile?
Batman: I'm afraid so, Robin. There is no good we can do here.
Religion (in general) claims to answer questions that are fundamentally unanswerable: what happens after death, for example. Now, if this isn't an example of fraud, then I don't know what is!
Fraud is against the law. And evolution isn´t. In fact, that brings me to mind the funny anecdote of the Middle Ages. If today we worked with the logic of that time you´d be in jail. Because, you know, you go against the most acepted theory NOW.
Let's follow this logic through:
1) If fraud were against the law, then all of the evos would be in jail.
2) Fraud is against the law.
3) "Evos" are not in jail.
Conclusion, "Evos" aren't commiting fraud. QED
I already know that John is absolutely ignorant of science, not just the ToE, but now it seems he's ignorant of basic law as well.
John, read a newspaper or turn on the tv and watch the news for a while. You might yet grasp this thing we enjoy called "reality."
Fraud IS against the law, at least over here.
Isn't that why Kent Hovind is in jail?
Oh, JohnR7. Never mind... or rather "no mind".
Not too swift are you.
Fraudulant actions for personal gain ARE against the law.
That's why Christians tell the Bible STORY. That's why religions need that non-profit, tax free operating field, so it's not a business and therefor free from responsibilities.
Evolution is science that crosses into many productive branches like medicine and agriculture. Religion eats up more money and produces attitudes and mind-sets, things that already happen naturally
Look, i got you something:

Also, fraud is against the law, but i don't think you quite know what it means.
"If fraud were against the law, then all of the evos would be in jail."
And a little something called Kitzmiller vs. Dover would mean that not only would the SCOTUS reverse said convictions, they'd greenlight countersuits against those cre(a)tins who made the original fraud allegations.
Still, at least Kent Hovind wouldn't have to rely on Bubba & co. so much for company. And Bubba & co. would have more fresh meat...! >:D
Ergo...:

How the fuck can a rally-spec car made by Mitsubishi be jailed for fraud ...?
And I'll just go get my coat, shall I...?! X3
Do you know why America is the mecca for false medicine/treatment centres, unregulated holistic shops, faith healing, fortune telling and fake magical/holy artifacts?
Because your religions got so diverse and wackadoo that the law found itself, quite simply unable to refuse any nonsense claims due to the churchs being directly involved to various extents in all of them them.
There's a bit more of a thieving church recognition in other countries.
Evolution on the other hand has actually won a major case for it's evidence (Dover trial)and y'all mythers lost that for total lack of evidence. In fact, your Christians were caught in lies and unfortunately not charged, as they should have been, for it because of the courts being far too lenient on faith.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
