I have to admit, I wish they wouldn't let blacks just take over EVERY sport. I remember being dismayed when the Williams sisters started playing tennis. my first thought was " oh no, another sport that will turn into a nogfest"

Oh, fuck out of my state already, we have enough of you knuckledraggers, and Georgia's only a few miles south.

Oh I see, so sports should have affirmative action for white people. I thought you were the type of person who would say "the best person for the job gets the job." If the black guy can play better than the white guy, he gets on the team, enough said. Better competition is a great way to make a sport better.
when the Williams sisters started playing tennis
Case in point
Oh no! The Williams sisters will douse the tennis court in gooey, egg-based, Yuletide libations! Now they're using fruitcake as tennis balls! WHEN WILL IT END?!!!
John McEnroe comes out of retirement, loses against the Williams sisters, then yells at a random pine tree, "WHY DON'T YOU GROW SOME NEEDLES?!"
Monica Seles comes out of retirement and a freak stabs her with mistletoe (Woah that was dark)!
Because our inherent superiority as whites is only obvious as long as it is never put to an actual test.
Considering the widespread practices of financial keepaway and systematic presumptive rejection that exists walling off African Americans from higher education either sports or the military end up being the only options to get a scholarship so it stands to reason you're going to see a lot of black faces trying out for the team and putting in effort like their entire futures were riding on it.
In a similar vein when you consider not only the wage gap but the sheer disrespect and hostility many face when they hit the job market sticking with sports as a career makes more sense as they're not trying to shut black athletes out the way many companies would turn their noses up at even a highly educated applicant on the assumption that affirmative action was the only reason they got through school.
Your "complaint" is entirely the product of people who think like you. Now ain't that a bitch?
Confused?
