God is apparent IN the universe. For example, Jesus is the Lamb of God and the Lion of Judiah. So by understanding the nature of Lions and Lambs that can help you to understand God.

There are two problems with what JohnR7 just said: one, his statement for the most part supports monism, which is mostly rejected by mainstream Christian theology. Two, I think the guy just called God a vicious idiot, which is not something that you want to say of beings more powerful than you.
Okay, studying Lions and Lambs shows that, given the opportunity, lions will kill and eat lambs. And this proves God how?
Well... let's see... lambs are dumb and eat grass. Lions are ruthless hunters, and the females do all the work getting food while the males are still dominant and get to eat first.
So... God is a dumb, ruthless misogynist? I already knew that.
So, god is half-lion and half-lamb? So does he try to eat himself? Can he take sef-communion? Is it called, "Communabalism"? I understand less then ever, thanks John.
But, but... Jesus is also the shepherd, is he not? So he's lamb, lion, and shepherd. In other words, he protects himself from himself, or what?
And obviously, he's also the vine, the gate, the way, the bread, the son of god, the son of man, the first, the last, the resurrection, the seed, the light of the world, etc. Like Marshall said "I am, whatever you say I am".
So much bullshit, so little time.
Ah! This is better. A reliably originally nutsoid fundie.
Well, John, as I see it, lions sleep tonight (in the mighty jungle) and lambs lie down on Broadway, so tell me what that means for God.
*reaches into the way-back machine*
To the tune of "Mares Eat Oats":
Oh, lambs eat grass and lions eat lambs, and JohnR7's a moron.
A moron and fundy too.
Yes, it's true.
Lamb sees grass, Lamb eats grass.
Lion sees Lamb, Lion chases lamb, catches it, kills it, and eats it.
*blink* Damn you Wild Discovery! You helped JohnR7 make no sense at all!
I know which one I'd rather be forced to sodomize...
Oh and isn't it Judeah and adapted from the Roman Judah, and isn't the other alternative Judea?
Hmmmmm, that explains omniprescence...
Mary had a little God,
It's fleece was white as snow,
And everywhere that Mary went,
That God was sure to go.
Albino Jesus!
@ xplicit_UK
... he protects himself from himself...
And this is the same guy who condemns himself to death, kills himself and asks himself "Why am I forsaking me?"?
@ Julian
... Daniel refusing to eat his lamb supper.
Mmmm, lamb, extra rare, with fava beans.Slerpslerpslerrppp
Well, as the saying goes, 'The Lion shall lie down with the Lamb, but the Lamb isn't going to get much sleep'.
Confused?
