Since according to scientists, energy can never be created or destroyed, then that means it has always existed and always will. So they know there's a God because they know that an eternal force exists. They just don't call energy God even though they acknowledge that it's a powerful unseen force whose power is limitless and infinite. So they have just defined God yet they deny Him at the same time. So you think energy can make snakes talk, impregnate a human woman asexually, makes some form of a soul live forever, and eternally rewards and punished said souls on whether they acknowledge that it did all of the above. And what peer reviewed journal of physics was this in?
Okay, lets say for an instance that an external force exists. Why does it have to be God? Or even sentient (aware of its existence), or even alive?
How do you know that this external force is nothing different than electricity or heat or any other kind of energy?

Hey guys, what's your opinion about the God problem these days? Even with God saving measures American's waste a ton of God per capita. If China's per capita God consumption rate starts approaching ours god shortages and God prices might become crippling. We have to stop using God the way we've been using it since the 1950's and invest in alternative God research and God sources. I'd usually get into a rant about the subject, but I don't have the God for it this morning.
Energy cannot be created, so the amount of energy in the universe is fixed, as you say.
If your god's power is limitless and infinite then the energy in the universe must be infinite and will always be infinite. This means that every particle of matter will be at an infinite temperature.
Many particles have been measured that are not at an infinite temperature. Therefore the amount of energy in the universe is not infinite and thus your god's power is not infinite. Conclusion: your god is not all powerful.
if you were to consider energy/matter to be God, and you're free to do so, that contradicts the Christian God anyway in favor of a nature God or something similar, though apparently not sentient in and of itself.
Never fail to not mention that, in accord to the big bang theory, energy and matter were created in the moment of the big bang. Since that's all that really make up the universe aside from space itself, it's safe to say the laws of physics are either 1) created during the big bang, or 2) included under the big bang theory in other ways, as theories can include laws within them.

In nuclear (nucular to a certain president) reations, mass is converted to heat, according to Einstein’s famous equation e=mc². That way, a small amount of fuel can provide a tremendous amount of power. Take some basic physics.
What they mean by that it's that energy, unlike other elements, is not produced ex nihilo and can't be destroyed but it doesn't mean that it didn't appear once and will not be exhausted in the future. Do a little research, before opening your stupid mouth.

Special Relativity predicts (accurately) that matter can be destroyed -- by turning it into energy. Matter can also be created by turning energy into it. This interconvertibility between matter and energy is summed up in Einstein's famous equation E = mc2 . (You'll note that c2 is a pretty huge constant. One kg of matter is equivalent to 9 x 1016 Joules of energy!)
Of course, the circumstances under which this conversion can occur aren't the kinds of things you're likely to encounter in everyday life. You need nuclear reactions, antimatter annihilation, near-light-speed velocities, pair creation from high-energy gamma rays, or other esoteric events to cause a measurable loss or gain in mass.
