You know the story of the Tower of Babel, right? Humanity, united under a single tongue, tried to build a giant tower to unite earth and heaven. God thought this was rather upity, so he gave the tower a good smiting, and to punish the cheeky humans he destroyed the unified language and gave all the peoples of the earth different languages, so they'd never get together and be so irritating again.
So clearly, we have different languages because God wants it that way, which means trying to learn another language must really piss him off.
But look at the world today! Rife with multilingual people! They even try and teach it to children in school!
Clearly we must be a stop to this. I for one am extra glad I resisted all efforts to be taught French at school.
So. If you are learning or speak another language, forget it all and repent, or suffer God's wrath.
