[From a thread about former PFC Jessica Lynch having a baby out of wedlock]
Anybody want to talk about the results of all this self-indulgence:
What Jessica and the other single moms are creating is the Islamification of American women. Muliple wives/husbands, half siblings and step siblings all running themselves into jealousy and poverty.
American women are tossing out our Judeo/Christian culture that says men and women are equal before God for a culture that says women only make babies and don't have the right to be equal partners with men in marriage.

Islam, Judaism, and Christanity all have bits in them that say that men are superior to women (and they were all developed by men. Surprise!). Many of us in the modern world have realized that women and men are equal, except in a very limited set of tasks. Also, before you complain about multiple husbands and wives, remember that Judaism did that, and christianity continued it. Let he who is without sin etc.
I didn't know that "Islamification" was a word. I've also failed to see the connection between mutliple wives and a baby out of wedlock
And isn't polygamy illegal and/or frowned upon in the US?
I agree with Osiris, meaning that your JudeoChristian culture definitely doesn't say what you claim it does.

Yeah, because predominantly muslim countries are much more tolerant of unwed mothers.....NOT.
Honestly, I've heard a story of a Pakistani woman whose husband was killed (by a crazy redneck claiming retribution for 9/11), and the immigration papers were in his name. Without him, she and her daughters would've had to move back to Pakistan, where they'd have been treated worse than dirt since there was no adult or even teenage male in the family.
Fortunately, their congressman was helpful in giving them amnesty.
Read your own book, toots.
As a female christian, your bible tells you that you are essentially the property of your father, until he 'gives' you to your husband, who can pretty much do with you as he desires. Your monatary value is half of a man's, and you aren't allowed to speak in your own church, neither as a minister or as a parishner. You and Muslims even worship the same god, after all, your misogynistic bible rules also inspired the modern Islamic mindset, so you are aleady closer to being a Muslim then you know.
for a culture that says women only make babies and don't have the right to be equal partners with men in marriage.
Isn't that what so many of your ilk want as well? Or have I just been imagining all of the rants I've read on here about how abortion is evil, and feminism is causing the downfall of civilization? Or the ones by the good, Christian fundamentalists who have claimed that women are the property of men?
Isn´t this person a troll or doesn´t understand the concept of polygamy?, is she hinting that she´s the third wife of a man or what?, what´s the part of Islam that she doesn´t understand?, in which part are they tolerant to unwed mothers or allow women to have multiple husbands?
Even if what she said were true, it's gender equality that give us the choice to marry or not, work or not, or have a a baby or not...
More fundies conflating their issues again.
Being a prisoner of war wasn't enough, eh? We have to torture her after she gets home, too?
She's not Britney Spears, asshole. She didn't ask for celebrity.
"Let he who is without sin etc."
If modern fundies are anything like the angry mob that was going to stone Mary Magdalene, then that couldn't possibly have happened. Not only would they have happily declared thenselves to be without sin and stoned Mary to death without hesitation, they would've stoned Jesus to death for trying to stop them.
You know, when I was in high school (back in Oklahoma of all places), one of our cheerleaders got herself all knocked up.
Anyway, it was, of course, quite the scandal. I remember thinkiing to myself:
"Gee, she went and got herself all Islamificafized!"
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
