Some atheists are gay, some are not. Without ancient fairy tale theology, most of us have learned not to care about other people's sexuality. Unless I'm trying to date you, what do I care whether you sleep with boys or girls?

Oh no you don't. I'm a biology teacher, and if you want some great examples of what you think of as "sex perversion", look straight to nature. Females killing their lovers during sex? Males breaking off their penises inside the females to keep them from mating with anyone else? Little males inseminating their sisters before birth so that the females are born pregant via incest? It's all there an more. You absolutely can't use nature as an example of holiness.

SOME Christians say this, not all. Most moderate Christians realize that sexual orientation is not something you choose. Would YOU choose to be gay, Jec_Lives? Would you willingly risk hatred, vilification, persecution, rape, abuse and death?
I support human rights for all, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation or disabilities. I'm NOT in the same boat, as I'm (white) heterosexual and cis-gendered; so I'm pretty privileged.
I can't become homosexual any more than I can become a man. That's why I'm not gay; I'm straight.
