Yeah, could have done anything and made it look like he didn't or did the exact opposite just to fuck with us. That way you comfortably believe anything the Bible tells, even if it's impossible or contradicted by evidence, because God can do the impossible silly-willy! It's all very convenient.
So what you're saying is: God took a ridiculous, convoluted, contradictory route towards achieving his goals for humanity and the universe. Then, he erased all the evidence of this and magically conjured up overwhelming evidence for a completely different, much more logical series of events. Now, he expects us to accept the truth about what he did despite that evidence, even though he created us to require evidence for (and a lack of evidence against) things before we believe them.
Your god clearly has a number of serious mental disorders. I recommend professional help for him.
