Now, assuming he was the Son of God and Savior, why would anyone refuse his freely offered gift of salvation? (I agree, it was a GREAT sacrifice!!)

I don’t know. Stupidity? Selfishness? Refusal to yield control of one’s life? Desire to live a life of sin?

The fruits of the Spirit are: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. Not saying that people who aren’t Christians don’t have some of these, but they don’t have ALL of them at the same time.

I understand that some of the greatest Darwinists today actually have admitted privately that they can’t believe in a Creator because then they can’t live the kind of life they want to, chasing girls (yes, they were all men), alcohol and other drugs, etc. They would have to answer to God on Judgment Day. This was unacceptable! So they refuse to believe.

Well, I have news for them - come the End, they’ll believe, but it will be too late to change anything. God has given them LOTS of evidence of his existence and they refuse to listen. So they will pay the price. But they can blame no one else! And it’s eternally sad for them. (sniff sniff)

See, that's your problem right there! You assume too much. You assume that you are right. You assume that we are gullible enough to believe you. You assume that all your beliefs are not a cruel prank played on you by generations of arseholes intent on controlling your ancestors and now you.

Bullcrap! I am faithful to my wife, I never get drunk (although my good old Norse genes might be partly responsible for that.), I do not smoke (anything) and I try to be decent to other people.
Meanwhile, all the fundies I see in this world are addicted to self-righteousness. They see themselves as better than others because they claim to be "saved". They might coerce, force their beliefs upon others, kill others in their pursuit of power in this world, but it is all justified in their eyes. You know what this is? Hubris. Because when you claim to always be in the right, you think you are already all-knowing. You already think yourself equal to your god. And that is exactly why your faith is worthless. Because you do not believe in anything other than the gratification your beliefs provide to you.

Because first you have to assume that God exists and Jesus was his son, and everything else about Christianity is true.

No, they haven't. Not one atheist I've ever known has ever said that's the reason they don't believe in the Christian god.

Ah yes, gotta throw in the threats of Hell and eternal damnation in there. You wouldn't be a Christian if you didn't threaten atheists with a Hell they don't believe in.

If God loves us, why is this gift of salvation needed in the first place? My biological creators (my parents) love my siblings and me more than life itself, and would stand in the way of anyone who would try to harm us. Your ogre of a deity wants to punish us for an eternity for not kowtowing to any and all of his petty fancies. That's not love, it's a mixture of childishness and dictatorship.

Apparently, the Kiddydiddler is not a Christian; he doesn't seem to have any of those fruits.

I doubt that anyone call themselves Darwinists. They would also have to call themselves Newtonists, Jennerists, Curieists, Linneausists, and all the other great scientists. There is nothing special about the ToE, other than it being one of the strongest and most tested theories. Apart from that, Darwin is a discoverer and a scientist, just like all the other.

I see no evidence for the existence of ANY gods, goddesses or other deities, and I see no evidence for a creation, so why would I believe in a Creator. Oh and who created the Creator? And who created the Creator of the Creator?

Lots of Christians chase girls, alcohol and other drugs, etc. The Christian Ted Haggard chased boys, though, and he did drugs.

Yup, come the End, you will also believe in His Noodly Appendages.
