Thanks for that heads up. Ft Stewart is where the 20,000 strong 1st Combat battallion of the 3rd Infantry is stationed. They are currently assigned to Northcomm for "domestic duty" here in America, in case of "state of emergency". Ft. Stewart was also a POW camp in WWII and may still have such capability. Of course Atlanta is 200 miles from Ft Stewart, but those Black choppers can still make that trip in about an hour. I wonder if others are hearing them flying along that flight path as more confirmation. The fact that they are operating at night indicates they do not want the public to see them in formations. And also they have FLIR so they can see in the dark. Maybe they know you have been videotaping them. Be prepared for a possible 3 AM visit someday ...

How many choppers are you sighting/hearing? Just a single one, a squad of about 10 or a wing of 30 or more? 3-4 of them are able to carry an entire platoon of 40 soldiers, depending on other stores (like ammo, flash- bangs, etc.) being carried. A platoon is the likely size of operational units in multiple neighborhoods once "the agenda" is activated for real.

Be prepared. Here's the link, I like the phrase:
..."more than likely will not be shot at ...", which reveals that they anticipate that their deployment is other than marching in a parade.
