People need to start thinking less and praying more.

What are you doing thinking about that and posting it on the internet? Pray! Pray your little heart out. All day every day. I'll stick with thinking. Prayer never developed antibiotics, surgery techniques, or computers. Hell, even churches have blueprints and architects. Not one church sprung up through prayer alone.
"People need to start thinking less and praying more."
One question: Why?
Enjoy your head-asploding paradox, Davey-boy. >:D

Prayer: Crawling to the church to beg God to protect you from the Plague.
Thinking: Cipro.
Hmmm ... which one actually works?
If all their ilk did was pray, I wouldn't have a problem with this silliness. That would leave more room out in the world for those of us who actually enjoy living in it and consider it our home as opposed to thinking that we are just "passing through" on our way to some everlasting bliss on a puffy cloud. Show how nonsensical religion is while the rest of us go about our business.
Sadly, they try to get us to be as deluded as they are.
So you want us to go back to the Stone Age, right?
No thanks, I prefer my society to be able to think and figure out problems its own. I think it far more effective, and more mature, than talking to the sky and relying some spooky imaginary friend to fix them for you.
"Look Dave, I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over."
Actually.
I've been following this Christian movement in America since the 1920s and one things become real apparent.
Things get worse in America as those Christian numbers rise and Christian leaders are supported.
Don't even spend a second trusting me, check it out yourselves.
The fifties were prosperous and MUCH LESS obsessed with Christianity, church or electing religious leaders, it's main result was a huge increase in racism, The sixties became freer and less religious and prosperity continues, the seventis bring in Southern religious values, followed by the eighties "me" generation IN THE SOUTH and the increasing interest in voting in religious leaders into the 2000nds.
There are two major periods of American politics.
The lawless time of settlement and conquering.
The bullshit of pretending that was the greatest , most noble time on Earth.
Confused?
