“Dear Mr Comfort, Please explain genetic diversity using Christianity. If we were all descended from Adam and Eve, and then Noah and his wife, we would be able to trace every single person's genetic sequence back to these people. And in essence we would all be committing incestuous acts as we would all be related.” Andrew Hilton

Every time couples get married, they are marrying someone who is a distant part of the human family. You might think of these marriages as incestuous acts, but civil law is okay with it.

Christians aren’t the only ones who believe that we are all genetically descended from Adam and Eve. In an article called “Genetic 'Adam' and 'Eve' Uncovered” scientists said,

“Almost every man alive can trace his origins to one man—And that ancient man likely shared the planet with the mother of all women. The findings, detailed today (Aug. 1) in the journal of Science, come from the most complete analysis of the male sex chromosome, or the Y chromosome, to date.”1.

So now you have a problem. Science says that you are a descendent from Adam. You inherited a sinful nature, and you can’t blame Adam for your sins (within a criminal court or on Judgment Day). Jesus said that if you even look with lust, you commit adultery in your heart (see Matthew 5:27-28). So you need God’s mercy or you will justly end up in a terrible place called “Hell.” I don’t want that to happen to you, neither does God. He provided a Savior. So forget about Adam and Eve, Noah and his wife, and seek the Lord with all of your heart. See www.NeedGod.com for details.
