Whenever I want to know something about climate change, moon landings, or prehistory, I always consult a 1,500 year old book of biased history and mythology written by ignorant sand rats that are only relevant to history because they squatted on the Mediterranean end of the Spice Road, and had no knowledge of germs and therefore no concept of personal hygiene, let alone astrophysics, or statistical analysis. Yup, those are my go-to experts on everything! Yessiree Bob!
When people talk about "truth", I want evidence. We have lots of evidence for global warming, evolution, moon landings, and dinosaurs, although we have yet to find any dinosaurs evolving on a warming moon.
Evidence for the zombie carpenter? Nope, nothing at all.
Except we have stuff to back up global warming, evolution, moon landings, & dinosaurs. You have a book of stolen myths.
There is an approximately 95% chance that our species will be extinct in 10 000 years. (I did not just pull that number from my ass.)
We either start teaching our children that we're merely part of the world and have no right to destroy either it or other lifeforms wholesale...or we disappear, and so too does the Bible.
It is time to grow up, all of us and more or less all at once or there will be no one left to read great works or create great art. We will be gone. Extinct. All of us. Everywhere.

What is the 'biblical view' of isomers or Dirichlet's theorem on arithmetic progressions? I want to see the mental gymnastics behind that.
I hope that one day our ancestors will look back upon human-centric views of reality and the want to wage war as a phase we went through during the infancy of our species.
