Today's liberal can only be matched to one time in world history. That would be the French Revolution. Matter of fact this is where the concept of the left came from. I think you know how fouled up these people were.

Speaking of stopping Hitler, as I sure you are well aware, Hitler and FDR went into power only four months apart. How many lives would have been save had Hitler been taken out in 1933 or 1934? Instead we fought a war over oil in the Pacific in 1941 with a weakened arm forces that had been allowed to decay. If history is allowed to repeat itself, we will see the same thing happen again.

You can rewrite history all you want to. If you think America or the colonies were liberal during the American Revolution you need to check your facts a bit. England was far more liberal than the colonies were at that time.

What prevented nuclear amageddon was the fact that both powers had nuclear weapons. Had the world been armed with conventional weapons, Europe and possibly the entire world might be under the Soviet Union now. (This would have made a lot of leftist happy, we certainly saw an example of this in South East Asia). There has been recent nuclear lately activity in both Iran and North Korea. Even though North Korea has actually tested a weapon and Iran is working on one, we have heard nothing from Green Peace. This explains the references to Green Peace and watermelons, green on the outside and red or yellow on the inside.

The way world history has worked is it swings back between being conservative and liberal. Conservatives makes the world stable enough so liberals can exist in it, as soon as the liberals take over, we go back into chaos and confusion. Then things fall apart again.
