To those who, still feel as though they have time to do "their thing" know this: if God can take a two year old's life via a stray bullet, if God can take men and women out of here via an earthquake, what do you think is stopping Him from taking you? His grace and patience, but understand this, God doesn't tolerate sin for too long.

Zoe - Not necessarily! He could be saying that God killed a two-year-old *to punish its parents!* Or as a test of faith. Or to show the world that gang violence is bad. Or maybe even $arbitraryReason!
I think that the whole "God can take a two year old's life via a stray bullet" is a down play of gods might. Shouldn't he be able to strike a two year old with lightning? Even if the kid was in a submarine 200 meters under the sea?
So, you have solid, scientific evidence that that believers live substantially longer lives than atheists with similar life styles?
As the parent of a two-year old, I would like to say that this post made me want to leap through the Internet and jump out of James' computer screen for the sole purpose of ripping his throat out with my teeth. When the authorities ask me why I did this, I will simply respond with: God doesn't tolerate sin for too long.

God's tolerance is vast - sin has been around for all of history and he hasn't seen fit to take us out yet.
