Oh yes it was. The Pro-choice community is very good at pulling things out of their asses to keep their sacred right to kill unborn children. Back alley abortions, rape, being tossed out of your house. Teenage Pregnancy, reduce poverty, reduce population. The list goes on and on and on and on and on and on!

Hey, Ratigan. Get up off your ass and go volunteer for First Friday Friends or similar missions wherein you can sit for mentally and extremely physically challenged children so that parents can have a night off a month of relaxation. See how birth defects can affect people, both those with the problems and those around them.
Back alley abortions wouldn't exist if abortions were legal and regulated and you people didn't try to convince the world that there's some shame in having one.more of a problem if someone not yet suitable to be a mother carries it to term.
Reducing poverty is a good thing. There are two criterion for disagreeing. One, being rich. Two, being an asshole.
The population isn't reducing. The population growth is reducing.

Back Alley Abortions - Exactly what we're striving to prevent. If we keep it in a controlled environment, there's at least a chance the mother will survive, horrid as you may think that is.
Rape - Forgive me if I feel that a woman shouldn't be forced to live with the results of a rape, nor a child to a life of being resented for something s/he never did.
Being tossed out - It happens. People in the religious camp have a nasty tendency of turning their backs on their children if they turn out to be "broken."
Teenage Pregnancy - So you feel that a girl should be forced to drop out, and live a life never fulfilling her potential for a backseat mistake?
Reduce Poverty - THIS IS A BAD THING?!
Reduce Population - You may think that God will reach down and provide when the world is embroiled in famine. I feel that promoting overpopulation is borderline, if not flat out suicidal.

You're either lying or you graduated in the bottom of your class(did your degree come from some 3rd world country?..reminds me of the Kent Hovind road to higher education). After all, 50% graduated in the bottom of their class. In all my years as an R.N. I have NEVER heard a physician speak like this.
