"If there were Egyptians on Mars then it would be the demons who influenced Egypt into their idolatry and magic arts. These demons may have lived or hung out on Mars until God destroyed the planets environment. We don't know for sure all that happened; we just know what the Bible records.
In reality there probably was no civilization on Mars. Those Rovers have found nothing but undrinkable water and lots of rocks--nothing that would say that there is or was life on Mars.
REALITY CHECK
The reason why evolutionists are so determined to support the ancient Egyption religion over the truth of God is because the account of Ra is where evolutionists get cosmic evolution from--but evolution is not divine revelation, so Ra is strictly mythology (demonology at best)."

REALITY CHECK
This sums up my comments.
Well, you're right about no civilizations having been on Mars. Unfortunately, the Mars rovers have not found water, drinkable or otherwise, on it. Any water on it is either in the ice caps of underground.
And no, science isn't interested in proving any religions right or wrong. It's out for the truth. End of story.
One, evolutionism doesn´t support religion, Egyptian or not. Second, there is not a single trace of Egyptians in Mars. There was an idiot called Von Daniken who formulated several theories over that, but he´s not in the realms of sciences.
What the fuck are you even talking about?
When has any scientist, or hell, any non-science fiction author, said that there was civilization on Mars? There's some frozen bacteria, which qualifies as life, but I don't think anyone believes there were people.
Besides, Egyptian culture was based on a pair of misplaced Thanagarian law officers. Duh.

Though I dispute the accuracy and authority of the Bible, I do need to point out that the Bible is silent concerning Mars.
"n reality there probably was no civilization on Mars."
Now you're back on track.
"but undrinkable water and lots of rocks--nothing that would say that there is or was life on Mars."
Oh, you were so close. There is evidence of liquid water having existed on Mars. Primative life on Mars, now or in the past, is still a possibility. Egyptian gods on Mars is a different question.
"REALITY CHECK"
Your reality check bounced.

Whoa! Back up the bus, Frizzy. I have never heard of a person who understands and accepts the ToE who supports belief in the ancient Egyptian religion. Better try again to see if you can get that reality check to go through.
You are right that the ToE is not divine revelation. Of course, you left out the fact that nothing else is divine revelation either.

No more Stargate for you!
In reality there probably was no civilization on Mars.
Very likely.
Those Rovers have found nothing but undrinkable water and lots of rocks--nothing that would say that there is or was life on Mars.
Yes they found water on Mars. They also found evidence that water once flowed on Mars. Water and a CO2 rich atmosphere is all you need for life.

Reality Check, scientists don't support the Egyptian religon beacuse it claims that the world was created from a lotus flower. And why do Christian fundies instatnly associate demons with everything they don't agree with?
the account of Ra is where evolutionists get cosmic evolution from
Ra rose out of the formless sea, perhaps hatched from an egg, then had four children (without any mating of any sort), who then went on to create other stuff, like air. Maybe I missed something, but when did Ra get added to the theory of evolution? The Egyptian creation myth makes less sense than Adam and Eve, but not by much ...
Ed: To answer your (presumably rhetorical) question: Percival Lowell. However, he was more of a rich amateur astronomer than a proper professional, and even then he was widely regarded in scientific circles as having let his imagination profoundly hijack his scientific judgment -- and, of course, his fantasies have been definitely exposed as such with the arrival of bigger and stronger telescopes as well as the various probes to Mars.

Evolution is not divine revelation, therefore Egyptian religion is mythology. Is that your argument?
If we're going to go back that old-time Egyptian religion, I'm going to start worshipping Bastet, the cat-goddess of good times. Party at my house!
Has this person ever studied Egyptian mythology?! It's one of the most Biblically accurate mythologies out there. I mean take away the plural gods and turn them into one God and you've got the first few chapters of Genesis...
If you really want to blame evolution on a mythology, go with a mythology where the world was founded either by survival of the fittest or was founded without the existance of a god. The Aztec mythologies might be as close as you can get...the strongest god in that bunch slaughtered his siblings and used their dead bodies to form the earth.
Illuvatarwen: and, amazingly, the book of Genesis was miraculously handed down to a group of nomads who (according to them, anyway) had recently fled Egypt! Funny old world.
"Besides, Egyptian culture was based on a pair of misplaced Thanagarian law officers. Duh."
Ed i LOL'd at that one, that show was awsome.
There neither are nor ever were intelligent life forms on Mars. Period. No scientist claims otherwise.
After all, intelligent life forms leave behind, you know, buildings and tools and such?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
