If god isn't real, how do you explain Adam and Eve?
I'm so sick of you elitist atheists thinking science can explain everything. Your logic is flawed.

Er, not everyone believes that Adam and Eve, as described in Genesis, literally existed. Genesis is more lore than objective history, anyway.
There are men named Adam. Like Adam Cohen, son of the singer-songwriter-poet, Leonard Cohen.
There are women named Eve. Like a woman I used to date.
Presumably, some women named Eve get involved with men called Adam. But, genetic tests suggest you're full of shit as to their begetting all of humanity.
The whole point of science is that we can't explain everything. At least not yet, that's why we're trying.
You're the one who claims to have an answer for everything, even if it is always the same answer.
If God is real How do you explain physics, chemistry and biology? Oh. That's right. Your stunted intellect can't survive without Sky Daddy, so, you ignore the evidence of your own senses so you can remain a slave to a poorly constructed myth.
The Adam and Eve of the Bible never existed, they are a figment of the imaginations of ignorant ancient desert nomads, and equally ignorant, and stupid besides, modern fundies.
That was easy, next question.
I'm sure god is every bit as real as Adam and Eve ... and talking snakes, bats that are birds, four-legged insects, pregnant virgins, flying Jewish zombies, etc., etc.
"If god isn't real, how do you explain Adam and Eve?"
You mean the company that sells porn videos?
Oh, you mean the other Adam & Eve...
They are a myth. They never existed. That explain it for you?
Creation of the Creation Myth.
It is normal for a young child to ask certain questions, like where we came from and where we're going. Every tribe with an oral tradition that survives, will have its own creation myth as an attempt at an answer. [The cool tribes have some really creative myths, usually scaled with the availability of psychoactive substances.]
It happens that the "first man and first woman" is a recurring theme. The names are different, that's all.
[edit]
Your Jehovan biblical myth is of the "Life Sucks" genre. In general, that is why we atheists love to hate it.
And furthermore, how do you explain Tinkerbell and Peter Pan? And Zeus?
And what about that time I found a penny on the street? And it was minted in my exact birth year?
Huh? How do you explain all that? How could any of this possibly be explained without reference to an omnipotent, omniscient, omni-present, all-good deity? No, of course you can't. None of it makes sense otherwise!
If god isn't real, how do you explain Adam and Eve?
They're not real, either. Half the human population of the earth agrees.
"If god isn't real, how do you explain Adam and Eve?"
Religious fiction.
"I'm so sick of you elitist atheists thinking science can explain everything. Your logic is flawed."
It explains things a hell of a lot better than "Goddidit!"
if god is real why doesn't he/she/it heal amputees?
Hmm?
why don't limbs grow back in response to prayer?
because they can't and won't
We explain the myth of Adam and Eve by pointing out that is is physically impossible to create a stable and healthy planetary population from a basis of only two people. Genetic errors and congentital birth defects would have ushered in the end of the Human race by around the 4th or 5th generation.
Doesn't Jehovah specifically forbid incest in the Old Testament? Since there were only two Humans according to your myth then the task of increasing the Human race would have involved Adam screwing his daughters or Eve being screwed by her son--or (and I know this will excite you, you sick fundie douche) it would have involved Adam and Eve's children screwing each other and their own offspring.
Yeah, that sounds very godly...
If god isn't real, how do you explain Adam and Eve?
Judeo-christian and muslim myths. They never existed outside of these myths.
Any other questions?
Hebrew folktale derived from original Babylonian sources during the diaspora.
Read some history, smartass.
"how do you explain Adam and Eve? "
Ask and Embla, Izanagi and Izanami, motherfucker, do you know of them?
Pretty much every mythology has a "first man and woman".
There's no evidence to prove the existence of Adam & Eve (as they were described in Genesis).
Your logic is flawed, Tim.
Myths for morons.
Next question.
If gawd is real, how do you explain the fact that 99 and 44/100% of the people who take the babble literally are batshit fucking stupid?
Wouldn't you think he'd coach the home team a little better?
Tim you're criticizing a website that takes bait and mocks it for fun. Sometimes it's bait, sometimes the comments are real, either way fun is had.
Thanks for the mutual lulz Tim
If "god" isn't real, why should Adam and Eve be real?
I take our "flawed" logic over your non-existent logic any day.
From Fundie to English: Elitist-A person who relies on logical thinking instead of believing in a literal translation of an ancient book of fairy tales.
@Tim Martin-Since, it's virtually impossible to determine whether an Internet commenter is sincere or being sarcastic. FSTDT mocks all idiotic comments no matter whether the author is sincere or not. Either way, it's still great entertainment.
._. god fucking damn it to hell.
If the flying spagetthi monster isnt real, how do you explain the four meatballs of the spagettilypse?
Ok, explain, among others, Ulisses, king of Ithaka, Khrisna or Starkard, just to name a few, if Odin, Zeus or Vishnu don't exist.
Explain what about Adam and Eve? They're characters in a fairy-tale.
Science hasn't explained everything, yet. But, "Goddidit" is not an explanation, it's a cop-out.
At least our "flawed logic" has connection with REALITY, some EVIDENCE that we can verify.
What connection does your god have with reality? None.
What evidence of your god can we verify? None. The bible isn't the proof,it's the claim. If you claim your god exists because of the bible, then Harry Potter exists because his books say he does.
Let's see:
Science=reality
God=fantasy
“If god isn't real, how do you explain Adam and Eve?”
Same way i explain Kirk and Spock.
“I'm so sick of you elitist atheists thinking science can explain everything.”
No one says science can expain everything, so you’re wrong.
On the other hand, none of you can justify that Science has to explain Adam and Eve.
“Your logic is flawed.”
Your premise is a myth.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
