I think the better question would be why we would want the blessing of a bigoted, voyeuristic, omnicidal narcissist in the first place.

As for the first and final bullet points you quoted, they make no sense as points against us from a biblical perspective. The first makes no sense because half the Old Testament (after genealogies) is nothing but story after story of the mass slaughter of entire tribes and cities for the sake of looting and slave-taking on Yahweh's orders. As for the latter point, a good number of the Old Testament's "heroes" are such -- some in part and some in whole -- because they abused the living fuck out of legal, cultural & verbal technicalities to work people over for everything they were worth and secure positions of power & wealth. Usually followed up by more mass murder.

The only one that makes sense is the one about not striking your children. In some situations just letting them live is lenient by biblical standards.
