[The Sun converts hydrogen in to helium and then that gets converted into higher molecules. We know this from spectrophotometer observation of the sun.]
And what data are you using to compare the results found while using the spectrophotometer? Surely you are speculating that between here and the Sun there are no phenomena that could skew your results or perhaps you are speculating that there are no other gases or chemicals or ??? God only knows what that closely resembles the results junk-scientist claim to be fact isn't this correct?
Forgive me but I'm tired of egg-heads stating as fact "theories." Theories are nothing more than glorified hunches and until actual evidence (like a physical sample of the material burning on the Sun collected off the Sun) that's all this "hunch" will be.
I'd appreciate it if people would make their statements in an honest manner instead of trying to brainwash the general populace into supporting causes that are full of hot air.

Hello Kettle! LOL!!!

What shiny mirror you have there.
Hey dumbass, a used astronomy textbook goes for maybe $20 on ebay. Look it up. Maybe even take a class. Until then, shut up because you don't have the background to understand the explanation and nobody should waste their time trying to breach your wall of ignorance.

Only if a 75/25 Hydrogen Helium mix constitutes air as validly as 80/20 Nitrogen Oxygen...

It's called the Solar wind.
It is composed of the same mix of charged, ionized gases that comprise the sun. It has been measured and studied extensively both human scientists and and by remote satellite instruments. Samples of it have been returned to Earth for laboratory analysis, most recently and notably by the Genesis Mission.
The composition of the solar wind precisely matches the composition of the sun itself, which has been confirmed repeatedly over the past century. And it should, because it was blown directly off the surface.
Redhunter, you cleaver bastard, I hope you have a warehouse of keyboards stored, you keep owing people new ones.
What does he think powers solar reactions? Most of the matter in the universe is hydrogen, so what else is a star going to run on?
The souls of wicked sinners, of course!
1 Theories are NOT glorified hunches without real evidence.
2 We've recreated the fusion process here on Earth, H-bombs, perhaps you heard of them?

I had expected EndWelfareToday was familiar with the concept of vacuum, with parts of his anatomy consisting of it and all.
In other words, you're angry because someone smarter than you actually understands the science behind nuclear fusion.
I can't believe someone would debate the fact that the sun is a ball of burning gas. What next, flat-earth theorists?
... actual evidence (like a physical sample of the material burning on the Sun collected off the Sun)
We've got that. The sun spews out over 2 billion pounds of matter into space every second. Some of it reaches the earth, and some has been collected by space craft. The results correlate well with the spectrograph: mostly hydrogen nuclei, mixed in with some helium nuclei and a handful of other elements (and their corresponding electrons).
Theories are nothing more than glorified hunches
That's the sloppy lay use of the term. The scientific term for hunches is "hypotheses". To scientists, facts are things you observe - e.g., a pencil falls when you drop it. Facts are the "what". Theories are causal explanations that fit all of the known facts - e.g., there's a universal force called "gravity" that makes the pencil drop. Theories are the "why". For a given set of facts, there can be anywhere from zero (e.g., what causes radioactive decay) to dozens (e.g., what caused the downfall of the Roman Empire) of theories.
Science doesn't address every unsupported hairball "what if" some layperson pulls out of the air and says "prove me wrong". A seven year old who's just broke the lamp can always say "how do you know an alien didn't zap it through the window with his death ray?" The fact that one probably couldn't prove it didn't happen doesn't mean it needs to be taken seriously. If someone has an alternative theory that fits the known facts, they're welcome to propose it. They're not welcome to invent hypothetical "facts" and ask others to prove them wrong.
And what data are you using to compare the results found while using the spectrophotometer?
I'm guessing all the other samples ever analysed with the spectophotometer, but hey, what do i know?
Forgive me but I'm tired of fundies stating as fact "theories." Theories are nothing more than glorified hunches and until actual evidence (god coming down and saying, "G'day, i'm god, watch me turn the sea purple just for a giggle") that's all this "hunch" will be.
"Er, that should have read "burning hydrogen gas." "
Er, that should read "fusing hydrogen through iron gas."
You know - you can breathe in space - honestly - I seen it in a 1930s (godly times) sci fi film!
It is such a shame that you have debunked 1000's of years of astronomy - it was doing so well until you bibled it!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
