The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come."

This has been such a comfort to me when the young die. We do not always understand that in God's mercy He may take home a child or a young person to preserve them from the evil to come. I believe He did this to my best friend in 7th grade. He died. He was a good kid but his brothers became gay. I believe God preserved my friend from ever having to choose his "sexuality". He never became of age to have to. He is in heaven because he was a believer.
