At any rate, in real life Evolutionism has nothing to do with genetics. It's a belief system which essentially deifies nature by attributing to it creative properties. It is nothing but a rehashing of classical pantheism but gouged in modern terms. The only difference between Evolutionism and most classical pantheistic belief systems is that evolutionism glorifies death far FAR more, but just like its ancient predecessors, it is completely unsupported by empirical studies.

... Expert Excrement Expeditor award?
Also, I don't think anyone glorifies death nearly as much as your religion, snooks. From wishing it on everything to wishing for it, to scrifices and countless other little obsessions...
No sequitur award. In which way is evolution concerning death?. By that logic Christianity too, for we´re taught to look for the other life, not this one. And anyway, since when genetics, which are like a map of ourselves, have nothing to do with evolution?, how is it possible that we share 99% of our genes with chipamzees and turn the head?
gouged in modern terms.
Gouged? As in, after reading this I almost gouged out my eyes? Or is it, after you attended church, they gouged out the thinking portions of your brain?
Spell much?
Went to the site, crappy 'art' and this idiot trying to link Hitler to evolution and claiming he's really well educated despite the fact he doesn't understand the definition of 'religion' 'ad hominem' or 'emperical studies'. He's obviously a victim of Christian brainwashing and a Hovind groupie
A 17 year completely blew all his arguments apart which sent him into a Fundie whine
>>"Evolutionism...It's a belief system which essentially deifies nature"
...EvolutionISM?? Since when has it been an "ism"?
EVOLUTION. Spell it right. I get so fucking SICK and TIRED of fundies treating evolution like it's some kind of crazy, Scientology-esque belief system that just popped up out of nowhere one day.
>>"evolutionism glorifies death far FAR more"
Not really. But death is a key player in the process of natural selection, which is what drives evolution. Why? Because everything eventually dies at some point, after presumably passing its genes on to offspring (or not).
>>"Evolutionism has nothing to do with genetics...it is completely unsupported by empirical studies."
BULL SHIT. You have absolutely NO respect for science at all, do you. As a science major, I'm disgusted.
Incidentally, not to double-post, but...why is it that fundies always seem to pick on biology, and not, say, chemistry or physics?
Where do these people get this stuff?
Seriously. This is just too divorced for reality for jmsnooks to belong in the same universe as I do.
I read this several times and I still don't get it.
WTF? Just . . . WTF?
You don't have the foggiest inkling of what evolution is, but you still post about it on the Net, so that people ALL OVER THE WORLD can see just how uneducated, stubborn and gullible you are? You're a Darwin Award just waiting to happen, aren't you?
Honey, there is no such thing as "evolutionism", any more than there is "gravitationism" or photosynthesis-ism". Evolution is just basic Biology, and it's all about genetics. It's been proven again and again, year after year after year, maybe even daily. There are literal mountains of evidence, in Museums of Natural History (and other museums as well) all over the world.
gouged in modern terms
Snookums might be a "gouge potato".
@ Swede

Well, they have their "evidence", too. I believe it was Mark Twain who said he saw enough
pieces of "The True Cross" to build the Ark out of.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
