That's like Lysenkoism, dictating doctrine, because it's not established knowledge or facts of science, it's faith. It belongs in theology or religion, not psysics, astronomy, geology, biology, mathematics etc.
Science is very sketchy and many holes exists in terms of theories on how life/universe began.
There always will be some gaps in knowledge somewhere, but this also suggests ignorance of science already. Your argument is the God of the gaps fallacy: it must be inserted wherever you're ignorant. What you propose as an alternative is however much less informed and with much more gaps. It's a form obscurantism with a tradition of misleading denial arguments.

That's part of the deception of ID, it is a specific fundamentalist inerrantist literalist Christian pseudoscience that has been altered to hide its origins, there is actual evidence of that. Then why does it matter, if you can teach your faith at home and church? Why is the corruption of actual education so important, so urgent? Because it's indeed corruption, proposing to taint general courses about actual knowledge, with deceptive propaganda pretending that it may perhaps be on shaky ground supposedly because every opinion would be equal, that there are no facts that have been discovered about the actual world and our origins. Again, this is obscurantism, confusion for the mind.
If your particular faith requires that kind of pseudoscience and corruption of knowledge, its basis may not be very strong. Why can other religious people, including Christians, accept reality and the fact that ancient human myths are symbolic?
It suggests a need to alienate to exploit to me. That may be why deception is also used to try to force it on the people, as well as authoritarian methods, like the wedge strategy. And more recently, Project 2025, conspiring for a fully corrupt imperial dominionist oil regime. Such plans aim to erode the middle class, because they can more easily exploit a "lower caste". That's not the road to freedom, it's the road to indentured slavery, identity politics and conflict. And to the oppression of freedom, including religious and Christian groups not embracing the enforced dogma and rituals of the state cult.
The separation of state powers to limit corruption (thanks to Montesquieu) and the separation of church and state (thanks to Jefferson et al) are important. Teach your inspirational faith stories at home and church.
