Pro-life ought to be anti-war, anti-famine, anti-poverty, anti-fossil-fuel-industry, pro-universal-healthcare, pro-welfare, pro-women's-reproductive-rights, pro-paid-parental-leave...
For the umpteenth time; NO-ONE is pro-abortion, any more than they are pro-mastectomy. They are just sometimes the lesser of two evils, and need to be available and affordable at such times.
Abortion sometimes saves one life, while not aborting would have killed two.
Speaking of which; one woman dies every two minutes from complications due to pregnancy and childbirth. That's over 13 million women in fifty years. Many of them would not have died if they had been able to have an early abortion instead of carrying on with a dangerous pregnancy, or gotten proper medical healthcare during the pregnancy and childbirth. You're standing firm on the bodies of those innocents, asshole
Isn't it a difficult year for pro-choice Republicans, too? It's always difficult to be at odds with the party in important questions. And women's reproductive rights is a very important question.
There is no Big Abortion, nor Planned Murder. There ARE Big Pharma, Big Oil, Big Burger, etc, and most of them are subsidizing the Republican Party to NOT implement laws that would make life safer for all of us (as the laws would reduce their profit). Ya know, in spite of being "Pro-Life", an' all...
720 pregnant or delivering women will die today, and most take the "babies" with them in death. Or rather, it's often the "babies" that are killing their future mothers.
