(God is immoral because he commits genocide)
When you gain the ability to create a life, you can then destroy it. God created life- He owns it, in effect. Don't think that God is bound by His own commandments humanity...
In addition, life is not over at the moment of earthly death (according to the Bible) so God wasn't really ending life at all.

I imagine this one is in favour of abortion, right? 'When you create a life, you can take it away'.
Of course, in this case it also applies to the living, not only the unborn. If only his mother exercised that right.

You know, that logic could be extended to justify a person killing another person.
God created life- He owns it, in effect.
Fallacious. According to your mythology, God gave us life. Something given is no longer owned. Thus he does not have the right to take it back without our consent as the current posessors.
I still don't understand why God couldn't of just made, say, all the flood victims vanish into thin air. If Moses went "lolz no problem here, after all they just vanish", then God could suddenly just make Moses shit his pants in fear by altering his brain within a millisecond.
Fin.
So yea, I'm hoping my girlfriend never reads this one. See, she can create life. It takes a bit of work, but it can be done.
I'd rather not have her thinking she can destroy life as she wants. That could be bad, though possibly funny.
So, when one is a good and loving, perfect God, one is allowed to commit rape, genocide, mass murder, and incite rape, genocide and mass murder?
men and women can create life, whether with some happy bedtime (or showertime or couchtime or whatever you prefer) funtime, or in labs.
As others have commented, by your very own definitions, abortion is also perfectly acceptable.
As would genocide it seems, since your claim is rather unspecific; if one can create life one can then destroy life (oh hey, contradiction with your first sentence!)

In other words, your God is a hypocritical asswipe. Thanks for clearing that up.

I'm confused. Does Guy mean "the ability to create life" or "the ability to create a life"? He seems to switch between the two. Regardless of where one stands on evolution, the process of creating a life is a pretty well understood biochemical process; in which case, Guy seems to be supporting abortion.
So, abortion and killing your children is ok? If I build a car and you buy it, am I entitled to go to your house, throw your money at you and wreck the car? If a doctor performs surgery on you, can he undo it at any time?
By that logic, If i have a kid, i can have it aborted, or just killing it outright if i want to, because i own it. Thanks, Il have to exercise that right someday =)
Confused?
