Those who see the natural inclination of people to judge others harshly are correct. People try to force their favorite form of dress on others in the name of religion the same way homosexuals try to force homosexuality into Christianity in the name of being "nonjudgmental" the problem is the misinterpretation of The Bible.
I will begin out a bit from the question at hand to give a better understanding of the amount of reading necessary to understand some passages of The Bible.

Also mentioned in I Corinthians 11 is that men should have short hair and again there is a specific reason for this. In Corinth there was a pagan religion that told men to act like women and women to act like men thus promoting homosexuality in the orgies used to worship the deity

Of course, you have the biblical hero Samson, who got his power from his luxurious hair, and lost that power when his hair was cut.
Not to mention, oh, JESUS CHRIST, who is almost always depicted as having long hair.

I'm sorry? So forcing women to wear burkas is just the same as forcing you to be tolerant of other human beings?
Uh... what? You really need to stop with the drugs, man.
Short hair became a tradition for men when the Roman army made all their regulars trim their hair. It's a disadvantage on the battlefield to have long hair. Since the rise of Caesar, one of Rome's greatest generals, it became the style for all males in Roman lands and was thus passed on to western culture.
The authors who assembled the Babble around 300AD naturally expressed their expectations in the book. Jesus is commonly depicted as having long hair, as is Joseph, David, King Saul, Moses, etc. I don't recall stories of them going for the homosexual orgies.
In Roman Palestine there was a religion that told people to act like goddamn motherfucking homophobic assholes. Unfortunately, that religion spread worldwide. Unlike your most likely made-up pagan religion, I actually know this one's name. It's called christianity.

Actually, there's not. Paul just says "Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?" He doesn't offer any scriptural support - it's just his opinion. Anyway, gay men don't necessarily have long hair, nor do they act like women. In fact, if xtreme_x went into some gay bars, he'd probably get his ass kicked.
I've always found long hair on guys extremely attractive, and I'm a heterosexual female.
Plus, what the hell is a 'flyleaf' and why does it seem to make people fundie?

Nobody forces a christian to sleep with men ;)

So, you mean...not at all? Am I missing something to this picture?
Numbers 6:5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

This is bad why? Your Jeezis had long hair, yanno.
haha two of the guys in this Flyleaf band have long hair.
Plus their music sounds all the same.
If I were god I'd get creeped out with all these people singing songs about wanting to touch me and stuff, especially people that write bad songs.
Confused?
