My neighbor will not talk to me anymore after asking what I believe. I explain that a person can not change their sex. They are what they were born with.
Getting a sex change will not make those people happy. People who are confuse about their sex should just except the fact they are gay and changing your sex is not going to make you not gay.

Another example of the mentality that scientific thinking is: "If there are several possible explanations for some phenomena, the one that YOU can most easily understand is the correct one. Every time!"

Let me explain, again, how being transexual works....
* There are subtile but very apparent and physical differences between female brains and male brains.
....Even if being Gay or Trans was purely psychological....WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?! THEY AREN'T HURTING ANYBODY AND THEY CAN STILL FUNCTION IN SOCIETY! WHY DON'T YOU GET YER HATE-ON "OTHERS" LIKE MURDERERS, RAPISTS, MUGGERS, CON ARTISTS, ABUSERS, MONSTER PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY HARM OTHERS?!
They don't get sex-changes, they get sex-realignment, to fit the body with their born gender.
Getting a surgery DOES make those people more happy than they have ever been, usually.

Sexual orientation has nothing to do with this. There are trans-women that like men or women or both, and there are trans-men who like either women or men or both.
Empathy and respect are not your things, are they, DERP? That's why your neighbor won't talk to you anymore.
Just because someone is gay doesn't mean they want to change their gender to be not gay.
