In Eastern Orthodoxy, it's a heresy to be a racialist/nativist aka phyletist. Let that sink in... He was actually excommunicated for believing in ethnic separatism. The Catholic Church on the other hand has always endorsed ethnic solidarity. From Charles Martel unifying Catholic France, to the various Catholic Fascist parties in the mid 20th century. Unfortunately Pope Francis is detracting from the norm by advocating for immigration, but he certainly hasn't excommunicated anyone for disagreeing with his opinion.

They most definitively did not during the Middle Ages, idiot. The Church, and the supremacy of Pope and Emperor were supposed to be universal. The Church readily embraced the discovery that the Ethopians were Christians, hoping to have found Prester John - that's why one of the Magi has been black ever since. Kings and princes with too much power were the last thing the Papacy wanted. Profane rulers trying to influence the church in their domain was the eternal conflict between Pope and Emperor (before the Interregnum and the ineffectual Emperors that would follow), and a major reason why Lutheranism was so successful when it came to the northern rulers.
Maybe, the orthodox priest hates you because your beloved backstabbing crusaders plundered Constantinople and destroyed the Byzantine Empire because God Doge Enrico Dandolo told them to, leaving the last remnant of the Roman Empire to fall to the Ottoman muslims?
By the way, I think your Catholic ogre is wearing half a symbol for some nonsense witchcraft called "Chaos Magic".
And your artwork is getting worse.
Are we really sure that Catholic Nationalist is not a troll?
PS: It actually accepts the current pope? I thought Catholics like that were usually sedevacantists.
In Catholic Church, Catholic means "universal," meaning non-White countries such as Brazil, the greatest Catholic country, the Central African Republic or the Philippines.

1. Charles Martel's realm, which comprised all the Merovingian kingdoms, was divided between his two sons, Carloman and Pépin, following the Frank tradition.
2. The Action française was placed, along Charles Maurras's works, in the Index by Pie XI on 1926 and Action française members were banned from receiving funerals in a Catholic church the following year.
@The Mimic Octopus
Given his sympathies with the SSPX, which officialy excludes sedevacantists, we can say he probably recognizes the current Pope as legitimate, although he affirmed "Novus Ordo" masses (i.e. post-Vatican II) are invalid.
The Orthodox Church might condemn racism, but they still have a long history of anti-Semitic/nationalist fuckery (e.g. Romanian Iron Guard, Russian Black Hundreds). I'm surprised they actually bothered to excommunicate someone for being racist.
Any solidarity the Catholic Church may have towards those in the countries where it is predominant fades when the people call them out on any criminal behaviour. Then their solidarity lies with their fellow priests, monks and nuns, regardless of the evidence against them
To be fair, the Pope did excommunicate the guys who plundered Constantinople after they attacked Christians in Serbia, so the Pope kind of realized those guys were fucked in the head long before they totaled the largest city in Christdom. It is impressive to get excommunicated by the Pope by trying to go on a crusade.
Dues Vult? Dues no.
But yeah, no, Catholicism has a history of religious solidarity, but that's pretty common across religious lines (Protestants had a lot of outlawing Catholicism) but Catholicism rarely is overtly racist, but The Conflation of race and religion is why Hitler gassed people of Jewish descent who had since become Catholic or Protestant. This is a reason for a lot of racism that didn't spawn out of Chattel Slavery or the greatest racists of all, the English.
Confused?
