"Rocky Mountain Horror Show." I recently read an article asking the question of "Why are conservatives so out of touch?" It mainly spoke about the GOP and their politicians being out of touch with mainstream society in America, but their voter base also appears to be out of touch, as evidenced by the failed reference to "Rocky Horror Picture Show." I guess when you spend all evening watching Fox News mixed with the typical anti-cosmopolitanism sentiment expressed by most conservatives, you make blunders like this, not to mention being shocked at anyone being gay or a transsexual.
