Tolerance comes right out of hell. Christians are followers of Christ. Christ was not tollerant, he was forgiving, loving, kind and a bunch of other things like that. But not tolerant.
To be tolerant one would need to be self focused, it's not hurting me so why care. Christians are others focused, like Jesus. Jesus was not tolerant of sin, he died to take it away as a barrier between man and God.
That's not tolerance, that's intolerance.

"Christians are others focused, like Jesus."
Well, they're supposed to be. But you...
What is sin? To you, sin is homosexuality, condoms, family planning, liberalism, hippies, etc. which for the most part are no more harmless than what you think are virtues in the eyes of God. So get your head out of your ass and see whose feeling you've hurt.
Besides, doesn't tolerance more of less equal forgiveness, loving and kindness of others?!
Exactly, a lot of the things they are intolerant of (human rights) are only harmful because their god is going to punish us if we take part in them. Be intolerant of things like war, abuse, and greed which actually hurt people, but the intolerance of every little mishap is more harmful than helpful.
Let's see. I don't like gays, I don't like young guys in baggy pants, I don't like people talking Spanish, I don't like people wearing turbans or yarmulkes, I don't like people saying "happy holidays", ...
Hmmmm - how can I cherry-pick the Bible so it looks like Jesus agrees with me?
What happened to the mote in your brother's eye, casting the first stone, stuff like that?
WHOA.
Tolerance comes right out of hell.
Tolerance (noun)
1. a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from one's own; freedom from bigotry.
2. a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward opinions and practices that differ from one's own.
3. interest in and concern for ideas, opinions, practices, etc., foreign to one's own; a liberal, undogmatic viewpoint.
Christians are followers of Christ.
Granted.
Christ was not tolerant.

"Jesus was not tolerant of sin"
Um, what! What about the times when he ate with tax collecters and sinners?
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
-Matthew, 9:11-13
"Christ was not tollerant, he was forgiving, loving, kind and a bunch of other things like that."
Uh... Yeah... That's tolerance, you moron.
Cripes, these asshats use the words "Christ" and "Sin" as if they were drugs. Every time they say or type these particular words they get just a little higher. I went to a wedding one time and the pastor said "Christ centered marriage" about 140 times durring the ceremony. If my ears had eyes, I would have poked them out. Either way, I'm choosing to be intolerant to yet another fundy ass wrap.
Go find a dead woodchuck to play with you prick.
Tolerance comes from hell?
You know, the more I read fundie quotes I read, that place sound cozier and cozier.
Not to mention more fun.
If that's intolerance, then I hope you'll be really intolerant. Maybe we can find people to help you be intolerant. Why not walk into a war zone and develop your intolerance, like stepping on a land mine....
Ok, tolerance is self-focus?. And when you kill people because they don't believe in YOUR faith, what's that?. Moreover, forgiving, loving, kind..........is tolerance. Because tolerant doesn't mean TO AGREE ON EVERYTHING.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
