Obama Hussein Barack
What are people's views on this Democratic politian?
He has a way with words, is a great orator, has quickly woed a following. Is he the Son of Perdition, that deceives many (to thinking that he is a Christian) when he is a Muslim??
But Muslims would not get people to worship him. But then we only have to look at Saddam Hussein and the Ayatola Khomeini to see all the photos and statues - idolatry, yet not condoned by Muslims. Islamic countries do raise their leaders at a cultish fever that borders more than idolatry.
Remember the Son of Perdition will be revealed before Jesus Christ returns, there will be a great apostasy in Christendom as the Book of Revelation is written to the churches, and he will deceive many and it's only after a number of years that people realise he is the Son of Perdition.

Is he the Son of Perdition...?
No. He's an ordinary politician with some charisma, a message that people like, and a fairly common middle name. And even if he was a Muslim, which he isn't, that wouldn't make him automatically evil. Get a grip, please.
Is this person saying that Barak Obama is the Anti-Christ?
I can understand how this person got to that conclusion by their explanation. . .but still, WOW.
There was a recent post about this here-from what I read: Although he did attend a school in southeast Asia for some years, he is not a Muslim. He is a member of Unitted Church of Christ, although supposedly he does not attend very often. (Although honestly, I think it's a good thing when politicians are not blinded by religious dogma.)
Oh goody, another End Times nutter. And something of a xenophobe as well.
BTW, dipshit, Obama isn't a Muslim.
And honestly, I actually like Obama, but I think he should wait a while before running for President.
He has a way with words, is a great orator, has quickly woed (sic) a following
God forbid politicians should be well spoken, able to get their point across and represent causes that are popular with the people!
Is he pretending to be Christian to be muslim?, maybe Bush is a rasta and pretends, who knows. Second, Islam is as anti-image as you fundies are. There is indeed no statue of the Ayatola, and they don´t worship them. It´s the same mechanics Stalin or Hitler did, but has nothing to do with religion. Next time you ask a muslim to take a photo, you´ll see what they say.
My first name occasionally prompts people to assume I am Jewish, even though I was raised Methodist (never mind that it was one of the five most common names guys were being given in my region at the time I was born).
One guy even asked me once if I were Jewish when we were on our way up to church choir practice together -- but at least, in his case, he caught the stupidity of his question the moment after he spoke it.
The point is that names are cultural more than religious, and even there, many things can influence the naming. And most important, the person with the name isn't in on that decision! At least, not unless it's a name change he made himmself many years later. A birth name is not the owner's choice, folks; lay off.
Yes, Obama has a nominally Muslim father, and he even attended a Muslim school for a couple of years. However, he has NEVER identified himself as a Muslim, and he also attended a Catholic school for a couple of years. He HAS identified himself as a Christian for decades.
Ordinarily, American Christian groups would be jumping up and down with congratulations for this guy that he converted from (or that he never strayed into) Islam -- that is, if he weren't in politics, or if he were a conservative Republican. But politics, not Christ, is the real focus of conservative American Christianity these days. So, since they dislike his politics, they repudiate him so thoroughly as to even deny him his claim of brotherhood as a fellow Christian.
So much for an allegedly inclusive religion that supposedly worships a loving God.

I KNEW IT! I knew someone would say Obama is the Antichrist! Dude, I'm like a prophet or some shit.
At least I think that's what this person is trying to say. Maybe.
Dammit, somebody give me some tequila and maybe I'll be able to parse this.

Americans, on the other hand, have never built monuments to George Washington, or named libraries after Ronald Reagan.
Right, so following you word association logic, with a name like Timothy; am I a prophet (I did write 2 books of the bible) or a murdering terrorist (I did bomb an Oklahoma building)? What other association can you draw from that name, or do only you get to pick which person my name reflects based off of stupidity?
Let him who has ears let him hear what the Lord has to say to you in these end times. BTW - you should read the bible and this is the final authority of all truth.
The rest of you who reject God and his kingship -- your ears can't hear truth. You will have many opinions about how to run the world. You will invent what in your minds what sounds like good rules that allow you to continue to live in freedom. The trouble is you can't even agree amoung yourselves what is right and good. Therefore you have chaos. To you, your time is fast approaching where you will get exactly what you want. THE antichirst is coming soon. He may be Obama, he may not be. In either case the antichrist will be a king whose heart is aligned with yours. In that day or soon after will your ears will hear? But will it be too late? I pray not. Do your homework dear ones. Let none of you be caught offguard in your pride and ignorance of what must come soon.
Obama is not Christian. For one --he supports abortion. I am not going to on a tangent of abortion - only if you think you are Christian and believe in the right to kill a baby in your womb, then imagine standing in front of the throne of God and explain to Him the logic of abortion and then imagine his answer - enough said.
Also it is quite clear Obama believes in everything, anything and so ultimately nothing. He is his own God, just read any of his material. He is not an obvious liar. But he contradicts himself depending upon the audience. His timing in the world scene is precise. Our Christian values are just now weak enough and we are in such disagreement over how to live, that we would compromise about anything doctrinally to welcome a man-made savior to get us out of the mess we are in.
Why are we in a mess? Please don't say Bush or Clinton. This is just a distraction. We elect leaders and then wholeheartedly undermine everything they do. If we prayed for our leaders half as much as we bash them we might be still living in relative peace. We are Christians right? Under God's blessings, right? No, we have thrown God and the bible out of our government. God said his angels do not move without the prayers of his people - do we pray in school? In Church? Do we even attend church and if we go do we pray to God? I have read statistics that say only 10% of all professed Christians pray, attend church and read the bible. In our modernity that is so enlightened - do we refer to God in anything or is this just too embarrassing to believe in God outside of the box of Church? We used too proudly talk about God in every arena...but we have forgotten our first love. Sure there are some small groups around praying. But we are in the minority now. If you don't believe me, look around in these blogs...it is very sad what people believe. It's as if we could fashion the god of our choice. Or take the true God of righteousness and he will overlook all of our sinfulness, act in defiance of his own design which gave us free will. Jesus, His only beloved son prayed to him in Gethsemane, Lord if there is any other way, please let this up pass from me. But guess what - it was the only way. Don't you think God would have saved Jesus if he could have AND we could have all been saved? So why do we think now the rules are different. God will love us so much we get to do whatever we want. Not true and not so. God will break His covenant with us and allow us to change divine order and law? i.e. Homosexuality is wrong - but we want it to be OK, so God will take it back, because he loves us. No. Even those who are saved (justified) need to sanctification and holiness in their walk. We cannot love God but reject His law by willful disobedience.
Anyone who reads the bible with any level of understanding can see that Obama is a very dangerous person. If he is willing to tell the Muslims in private what will tickle their ears, then his public professions of Christian leaning will be privately understood in Muslim circles as brilliant stratagem for the overthrow of the great Satan that is America. It would not surprise me if private Muslim funds are right now fueling the campaign of Obama, thinking that he is THE answer to pushing their agendas.
Obama's massive and irrational appeal across nations and interest groups is reminiscent to another figure in history. Recall the rise of Hitler, a known antichrist figure. In the beginning people loved him wholeheartedly - rulers gave him unmerited authority. Only Winston Churchill saw through him. Hitler was very charismatic. His timing on the world scene and the ultimate revelation of his true nature after it was way too late was calculated. He was a genius evil. The Antichrist will be a magnitude beyond this evil genius in his schemes and damage. But all of this is distraction.
The world system, news, blogs, opinions, religions...keep us busy reading and thinking - but is it revelatory and worthy of our time? Some of it is and some of it isn't. There are some very smart people on this blog -even while it is not obvious by this chain. So I hope you hear this. You are called to help others hear what is really important and put done those things that are irrelevant. Time is short and many of our relatives and friends are living in utter darkness while we blog knats out, the camels of the unsaved are being swallowed whole.
Dear ones, our hope is not in the proper identification of the Antichrist. It is in the proper identification of our God. Revelation will come to pass despite our best efforts to prevent it. In the meantime we should use these times to know Him and align with His purposes. Our goal is to stand on a rock not on sand. Do your best to snatch those who are a breath away from an eternity in the wrong place. I imagine my eternity reviewing and reliving all the lost opportunities to be a witness to the lost and it is sobering. Let's keep our eyes on the real fight.
Blessings...
I want to call straw man, but the last 2 paragraphs don't seem to have anything to do with the rest of the post.
And since when are photos "idols"? What about the crucifix bearing Jesus that I see people wearing? Hm...
And why oh why would one assume Obama is a Muslim, much less one masquerading as Christian?
Orite, because he has a "Muslim name." Tricky bastard, being all ethnic!
</facepalm>
@Expat in India:
So you say he's not Christian because he doesn't follow your particular values? Righto.
And that all "real" Christians believe that women should be forced to have children, regardless of circumstances or health issues or quality of life for the child? Gotcha.
And you believe Obama is funded by Muslims because, well, they MUST be evil since they happen to be different (or maybe it's because he "looks Muslim," or because of his name). Uh huh.
Now, tell me something... why are most Pro-Lifers also pro-death penalty?
Why shouldn't a woman have the right to choose whether to have a child? Or, in extreme cases, the right to have an abortion as an alternative to death? (It happens - my ex had one because carrying to term would have killed her and the child.)
Why can't a Muslim - or any non-fundie Christian - be a decent person?
And lastly, do you even READ the Bible? The primary admonition against anything like homosexuality (which there is no word for in Hebrew OR Aramaic, and didn't show up in the Bible until KJV) is in Leviticus. Leviticus, incidentally, also says that disobedient children should be stoned to death (how's that for Pro-Life?), and the same punishment for men that touch the bed or body of a woman on her period.
Still want to troll our forums? I'll get the rocks.

1. He's Christian just like you. Well, not really because you're insane.
2. Remember Hitler? Germany was Christian. In fact, people have blamed the anti-semeticism of the Nazi movement on specific Catholic groups in Bavaria.
3. Why would the AMERICAN despot be the Anti-Christ instead of the NON-AMERICAN despot when you just said that neither is a Jew and the anti-Christ has to--- *brain explodes*
Expat in India:
Let me state the unstated part of your rant: the other problem with Barack Obama is that he's black .
Is that what you're really trying to get at?
He just "doesn't know his place"?
He got rich and then "done got uppity"?
A President is "supposed" to be a white evangelical Protestant Christian?
In between all that "Obama is a dangerous person" crap, is that what you're really trying to tell us?
Would it be better if we elected an "octaroon"?
Or would you feel better with a "normal" person?
One more thing: you've made it all the way to India. Do you think you could make it over to Afghanistan, or Iran, or perhaps Indonesia and get out of our hair once and for all?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
