Because, by sheer coincidence, Polaris is axially locked to the North Pole, at least from the perspective of those of us standing on Earth. A better question would be, if the Earth is flat and doesn't move, how come stars which aren't Polaris visibly change places in the night sky over time and how come the sky in Australia is completely different to the sky in northern Canada?

How about, instead, we petition the government to allow ordinary citizens to visit Antarctica, but instead of stopping there, keep going south and hopefully meet some people who haven't been taught by the same biased sources as us.
Except there's no hopeful about it, I've actually met people who live in cities South of Antarctica, but it was kind of a disappointment,,, they weren't as consumed by bullshit as our society is, but it's so cold down there that they're preoccupied with survival.
It's disappointing how the prime real estate on earth is wasted.

The way those things actually work, they use a neuralizer to program memories of going on that cruise into your brain, and they keep you in a coma for the duration that the cruise is supposed to have, so that your family doesn't notice that you didn't spend the time there. The effects of being in a coma for that long are explained away as effects of the extreme cold.

Bad enough they can't even explain why, when you get out to sea, you can't see land even with a telescope. If the earth were flat you should be able to see land even if it's far, far off in the distance.
Ok, if the world is flat, why has there been a consistent, multi-thousand-year campaign to promote the idea of a globe?

The fraud may be coming apart, then, with Antarctica's Larsen C Ice Shelf Rift breaking off a Delaware-sized iceberg. It may not be too long before there's so little ice on Antarctica that the coverup can't be maintained.
