Abortion (any and all forms) for any reason is something I find to be based in selfishness. In the case of rape and incest it is difficult for the woman to go to full term, however to kill off the child is to say we know better than God. If God does not want the child to be born then a natural miscarriage will occur. For me when talking about the abortion issue, trusting God seems to be completely forgotten about in the conversation. So I like to bring it back into the discussion.

I don't get it. Why can't you let somebody air a Christian movie without spiting them? Let other people decide for themselves what they believe. This movie is far better than anything Michael Moore has released...those movies were absolutely overflowing with misinformation, propaganda, skewed facts, and outdated studies...same with Al Gore's movie. If you're going to be a critic, at least make some attempt to be fair. Why would I want someone who doesn't believe in God leading this country? Someone that is letting God lead his or her life is going to make better decisions than someone that isn't letting God guide his or her life. All we need is a president that will take away religious freedoms and persecute those that believe in God. Is that what you all want? If you don't believe in God then that's your choice, but an athiest will certainly not make a good president due to the fact that this person will make decisions based on public pressures and feelings. They won't know how to discern a situation and ask God to help them make the best decision. That's the difference between an athiest and someone who believes and follows God.

But hear me out. I was taking the subway home today and noticed two dubious looking fellows out of the corner of my eye. One of them then approached me and asked if I had a cigarette. I sternly said no because I don't smoke and never will. After staring me down for a few seconds he walked back to his friend. I assume he thought I was lying. So there I was, my heart racing, knowing I might have to defend myself if worst comes to worst. I noticed them staring at me, saying something to eachother. So I just put my head down and put it in god's hands. I said a quick prayer and when I opened my eyes they had left.

People usually use this philosophy to defend their beliefs in aliens. We have no idea how big the universe is, because God is amazing and i believe that the universe was made for us to explore and discover new things, ideas, and inventions. Just because the univrse is big doesn't mean that there are aliens. If there were aliens, it would've said that God made them in the Bible. The bible says, "God made the heavens, and the earth" heavens meaning the universe, but earth meaning: the only special little tiny planet that's inhabitible. If there were aliens, the Bible would've said "God made the heavens, the Earth, and mars." or something like that.

As I had asked in my last thread, I wanted advice on how to tell my slightly homophobic parents I'm gay I took the advice and sat them down and told them gently... My mum burst into tears and my dad got furious... He started yelling at me and hitting the table...
I left home that night and went to my friends house... I told him my parents went abroad for a week and he let me stay at his place... (He doesn't know I'm gay yet.) I'm 17 but have no source of income... I don't think my friend would let me live at his place forever...
The thing is I'm kinda worried about going home... and I don't have the money for my own place, I don't even have a job yet... So I was wondering if you guys could help me...]

Do you know why we wear clothes? its because of sin ! because Adam and Eve had sinned they also saw their nakedness and since God made clothes that means there is a moral basis for clothing and when you think about it there's only the Christian that has the real basis for insisting on wearing clothes and that there are standards on how we should dress, the more people reject Genesis there more they will abandon Christian doctoring such as wearing clothes. Its usually the result of people accepting evolutionary ideas instead of the authority of the bible.
