Paseka Motsoeneng #fundie iol.co.za

Hell hath no fury like a controversial pastor who went to hell and killed the devil, horns and all.

Pastor Paseka Motsoeneng, also known as Pastor Mboro, claimed on Facebook he went to hell and rid the world of its evils by killing the main man himself, Lucifer.

But after receiving negative feedback on his Facebook post, Mboro deleted it.

Mboro wrote: “When I got to hell, there was a queue of millions of people waiting to be braaied by Satan. I even saw some prominent South African politicians.

“I was so shocked because they lived like angels here on earth. I thought they went to heaven.

“When Satan saw me, he panicked and directed his army to kill me. Like Samson in the Bible, I defeated them. Satan was my last victim.”

This is not the first heavenly claim the preacher has made.

According to Mboro, he was so overcome by the spirit last year on Easter Sunday; he went to heaven and took pictures on his Samsung Galaxy Smartphone.

The pastor then sold the heavenly pictures for R5 000 each.

He also claimed to have access to the Pearly Gates and could get people in - at a heavenly price, of course.

Mboro was charging members of his congregation R10 000 for guaranteed access.

He also claimed he is so blessed that God sent him a BMW i8 valued at R2 million for helping the poor with his good deeds.

“The Bible says those who take care of the poor will be lifted up by Jesus. I’ve been helping the poor. God is rewarding me, with an i8,” Mboro said.

Skabrnje villagers #racist iol.co.za

Croatian Foreign Minister Vesna Pusic and the EU-bound country's ombudsman on Friday slammed a recent protest against Roma families as shameful and discriminatory.
...

Earlier this week some 100 people protested in Skabrnje, a village near the coastal town of Zadar, against the arrival of two Roma families. The families wanted to settle in the village after they bought some 5,000 square metres (53,820 square feet) of land there.

The protesters told local media they worried the Roma would “steal and collect garbage”.

“As long as one can remember there were no Serbs or Romas in Skabrnje and it will remain that way in future,” one of the protestors was quoted as saying.

“There is no room for such statements in 21st century Croatia,” ombudsman Jurica Malcic said in a statement on Friday.

He slammed both the protest and the offer of Skabrnje's mayor to “buy off the Romas' land only that they could leave” as discriminatory.

Some 17 members of the two Roma families, who were under police protection, left the village late Thursday saying they feared for their lives, national television reported.

Many claim that evolution is a proven fact. No, It's not! It is a theory. An alternative to those who rebel against God. It should always be referred to as the Theory of Evolution. There is no proven fact to qualify it as scientific fact. I don't know why such utter rubbish is passed of as science in schools and universities. With all the big brains and so much money spent to research a theory? This speaks of a hidden agenda to try and disprove God. No creature can disprove God. He transcends time and space and we can search the heights and depths of our universe only to reveal more of God's authority and power. The study of true factual science will point to a Master Designer, a perfect Creator. [In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1]

The Greedy and Superstitious #fundie iol.co.za

Ruyigi, Burundi - Richard Ciza was alerted by neighbours last week that a posse was looking for him. He ran and hid for two days in the forest of eastern Burundi.

The 19-year-old is an albino and knows exactly the kind of death he would have suffered if the marauding horde had caught up with him.

"Some neighbours came to warn me that a group of killers was after me and so I ran like the wind, completely terrified," said Ciza who lives in Ruyigi province.

In recent weeks, Ruyigi has seen a gruesome string of murders and mutilations of albinos, whose body parts are sold to witch doctors.

"People say that the body parts taken from albinos are sold in Tanzania. They put them on gold mines and that brings the gold to the surface, then you just need to collect it," said Ciza, fear evident in his pale blue eyes.

"Some fishermen also use the parts to bait large fish they think have gold in their bellies."...

Police have established that the limbs, organs and blood of the albinos were smuggled into neighbouring Tanzania and sold to local sorcerers who use them to concoct lucky charms.

Northern Tanzania has been plagued by grisly incidents involving witchcraft. The phenomenon has reached such proportions that the country's president has had to launch a special protection programme.

Demand is such in Tanzania that albinos across the region now feel threatened.

Albinos in Ruyigi province, where witchcraft is deeply entrenched, are more at risk than others.
