Wrong as usual, CH.
I'm a centrist (or, if I were living in the US, with its warped politics, a freak flag flying, weed-eating liberal) and I'm armed. Most of the people in this part of the country are armed, primarily with unregistered long-guns. (Only hand guns and military weapons require permits here, and there are plenty of those as well.)
Imagine "liberal" armouries in the US if people in Canada can legally own a garage full of guns in a nation with active gun control laws.
Beyond that, unless government troops side with you demented loons in your fap fantasy (aka, "Civil War Two") they'll use their superior firepower to to turn you and yours into steaming piles of meat before your first Rebel Yell.
If another Civil War were to happen, I don't think the break would be along political lines - at least not primarily. The catalyst could be some serious breach of the social contract, reinstitution of the draft after some idiot (gee, whoooo?) manages to start WWIII, massive water and food shortages (both of which will plague fully half the human race by 2050), or national...bankruptcy.
Here's some realtalk for ya, CH: Your nation is 21 TRILLION dollars in debt and now dangerously short of sympathetic allies. (And neither Russia nor the UAE are your allies at all: once you cease being useful, they'll build economic firebreaks around you and watch you burn.)
And after the fuckery of you wars, your bullshit trade practises, your tampering illegally in the affairs of your real allies and your unstable leader, if America fails as a state, there's a very good chance we on either side of you will close our borders to US refugees, carve out new trade agreements with China, Mexico, and part of Europe while the cruelest among us grab the popcorn and watch your dirty mobocracy sink into the mud. Don't doubt it, CH; the US consumes more of nearly everything than it produces. The world feeds, clothes, houses, and warms you, and your hubris and stupidity are wearing damned thin at this point.
