Gun Rights are Womens Rights
Womens rights and gun rights are congruent. Most females are physiologically smaller than most males. This puts women at a great disadvantage in a life-threatening situation against a man. A gun is an equalizer. Without it, equality between sexes is a joke.

Gun restrictions are a good thing. Not every gun should be available and not everyone should have a gun. Thinks like alcohol, driving, smoking, and voting are more restricted then guns. That's not right.
I do believe that a gun should be kept as protection
Without it, equality between sexes is a joke.
Somebody hasn't understood what equality is all about. It's not about physical strength.
Unless, of course, samtheman spends most of his time in redneck bars where physical strength is the most important quality a human can have.
I wonder who's stronger, samtheman or the person who owns the company where samtheman works as a janitor.
Violence is not something civilized nations should be striving to equalize. It's something we should be trying to eliminate.
Trying to equalize physical altercations is treating a symptom. We would be better off using our resources to reduce the cause, by lowering crime and domestic violence.
A gun is an equalizer. Without it, equality between sexes is a joke.
Because there are no situations where the ability to use a gun isn't appropriate.
"Excuse me Mr Jones, I think it's only fair that I should be paid the same rate as my male co-workers as I am, after all, performing exactly the same work"
"Are you armed ? No, then fuck off!"
Seriously ? You think that's how it should work ?
Not fundie. The poster may be, the statement is not.
It's an argument. It may be true or false, but it's debatable, not an article of faith. It may be presented as one, but isn't one inherently. Meh.
Hell, not even meh, I don't get the vitriol in response. He isn't saying women shouldn't have rights, or guns should be allowed no matter what. His first sentence is a bit hyperbolic, but it is still an argument that can be had.
Yes! Guns are the solution to every problem!
Crime? Guns.
Fire? Guns.
Overpopulation? Guns.
Global Warming? Guns.
NP=P? Guns.
Missed an episode? Guns.
And of course, the eternal favourite:
Gun violence? Guns.
Forsooth, blessed shall be the day the rest of the world finally realises the truth of this ingenious American insight!

Except for liberals. Liberals don't need to be shot to treat women with respect.
No, keeping them in the kitchen barefoot is not respect.
* We ladies have powerful lower-body strength akin to a man's, we can smash an attacker's kneecap with a simple downward kick easily. If every woman was taught some leg-based self-defense, she could escape a rapist.
* Teach people (especially men) that rape is wrong.
* Teach men that women are just as good as men.
* End rape culture.
* Pepper spray exists.
* You don't need guns.
* Assaults can happen so fast that she won't have time to get her gun.
* Effective gun use requires a lot of training and mental fortitude.
* Guns are just scary and is 100% guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution ONLY in the case of WELL-REGULATED MILITIAS....Like LAW ENFORCEMENT and MILITARY! As for average Joes & Janes, guns are a conditional privileged.
* Physical strength also means bupkus due to the fact that MACHINES EXIST! With a network of rope and pulleys alone, a tiny, 99-pound, 4'11" girl or granny can lift a thousand-pound object. A lady can move a load of boxes with a dolly (the wheeled kind, not the 'Barbie' kind) or forklift.

I wish this was true, but I've been seeing a rise of self-proclaimed liberals/progressives who, in the name of "free speech" and "fighting political correctness" are adopting reactionary views.
Brute force and equality are by no means equivilant or comparable as a measure of the respect of human rights.
To be clear I support gun ownership. Responsible gun ownership at any rate. This demented attitude that drawing first and sorting it out after the bodies hit the floor with the hopeful prayer that the offending party was simply slower on the draw is futher from responsibility than CAAMIB belives itself to be from failure to connect to the opposite sex.
That is fucking saying something, especially given it might blame you for the gun pointed at its head.
Confused?
