I would ask this arsehole: "Just what exactly has this baby done? Is it the shitting, or the dribbling? Is it the nipple-sucking? Is it coming out of its mother's vagina?
"Please, explain to me the great sin that was punishable by death. And then explain to me why this sin was the baby's fault, and why this is a fair punishment, and how God is a just God.
"Because to me, this looks like the work of an insane God. Or rather, it looks to me as if you are the insane one, and it's you that should hand your head in shame for telling your daughter such disgusting lies."
The sin, I suggest, is with the father, not the child. May he rot in hell, when his time comes. But of course there is no hell: so may he die in regret, and may his daughter despise him.

Feel that Christian LOOOOOOOVVVVEEEEEEEEEEE. Some Christians believe that everyone deserves to die because we couldn't live up to the bogus rules that their God already knew we wouldn't be able to live up to. Instead of realizing that it's their God who is a cruel schmuck, they choose to believe all human beings are corrupt, vile, putrid creatures from the moment they are conceived and God is some great guy for at least allowing a few of them to live long enough to lick God's asscrack. It makes me ill.
Babies, children and young adults die because fundies don't look after them properly. They rely on prayer instead of calling in medical assistance. And assholes who give answers like extranos are dangerous and probably should have been denied medical assistance as a baby so as to avoid proliferating this kind of dangerous stupidity. Whereas sane people hold that babies and children are innocents, next he/she will be advocating that as babies and children are sinners they should be executed if they cry at night, or backtalk their parents. Lapidation, of course. (That's stoning for you bible ignoramuses.)

Umm, I dont think the daughter of a guy like this would want to make such an easily call-able bluff.
A "just God" makes it so that the babies and children are "sinners" entirely due to a distant ancestor's actions and punishes them accordingly?
I believe that the U.S. government has back taxes to collect from you for those that your great great great great grandfather avoided, and will shortly afterwards jail for your great great great great great grandfather's murder of a young Frenchman. The punishment will involve torture, because it is the only way to make sickos like you learn.
The original question with the "answer" the father apparently gave his daughter is also quite chilling:

This reminds me of growing up Catholic and having everyone rush around baptizing babies as soon as they were born so that they wouldn't go to hell if the died. Same sick warped mentality.

These are the same people who can’t figure out why our society is so messed up. Yeah sure, it’s the fault of the non-religious when we have high crime rates and rampant drug use. It’s not the religious fundamentalist seriously fucking up their children with crap like this that’s the cause for so much bat shit crazy in the world.
How can babies and children possibly sin? They are innocent, no matter how lunatics pretend otherwise. They can be mean sometimes, but the kids don't know any better the first few years. Same with Adam and Eve's supposed sin; "I didn't know it was actually a bad thing, because HE told me it would be okay." How were they supposed to know? They were innocent and hadn't eaten the apple of knowledge yet.
This is largely why sin is bullshit.

Babies and children are surely no sinners, so the above has nothing to do with the death of babies and children.
